I booked this hotel last minute and was glad with the choice. The rooms are big (Especially for Corsica) and provided everything one would need other than an in room fridge. I loved the ground floor entryway and the decor as you walk the first main hallway up to the stairs. The breakfast provided was perfect and had everything one would need. What really made this hotel stand out and probably the only reason I am taking the time to write a review is because of the reception girl, Victoria. She is so lovely and was super helpful and kind. She noticed that *********** had automatically booked me for 2 people even though I am a solo traveller. So she suggested if I wanted to take the extra time we could cancel that reservation, she would do her part on her end to waive any fees with them and then rebook me direct with her so I was charged a lesser price. She also advised me on parking in the area and told me in a couple hours it would be the weekend rate of “free” for public parking and that I should be able to find a spot close by and showed me on a map where. She gave me great advise on restaurants and made a reservation for me at one. And she gave me some extra homemade biscuits to take home on my flight the following day. She’s just an all around super special kind individual and really made a great memory in Corte! This hotel is certainly not a Hilton, as the management pointed out in a previous comment. There are some little old room issues, like my air conditioner making noise that disturbed my sleep and no toilet paper holder, BUT if it weren’t for the caring help and kindness of that reception, I may have noticed those things as a negative. I did not. This hotel has charm and it is accented by that wonderful employee who’s kindness is appreciate so much. I hope the owners appreciate what she brings and she is rewarded for how she does her business for them. She deserves a bonus cheque this month ! :)
