Venice Hotels with Balcony

The hotel prepared champagne and desserts for our honeymoon, and also gave us a corner house facing the canal, which was very beautiful! The room is very fancy and provides slippers, toothbrushes and other essentials. The bed is a bit soft and my back hurts when I sleep on it. The quilt is thin and the air conditioner is slightly cold (it seems like this in European hotels). But the entire room and hotel were quiet and we were never woken up. The room is a little tilted, I don't know if it's because of its long history. The disadvantage is that the bathroom is too small. My husband is quite big and it is very painful to take a bath in it. The hygiene needs to be improved. The shower head in the bathroom is very dirty and there is a thin layer of dust on the surface of the bedside table. The attitude at the front desk is very good, very warm and polite, and you can store your luggage for free. The hotel is located in a quiet location. It is about a 5-minute walk from the nearest water bus station. You only need to cross a small bridge, and you can carry your luggage everywhere else. There is a restaurant on the main street next to the hotel that has a Chinese menu. The taste and price are good, and it is highly recommended! But in short, the hotel gave us a very good experience. We love Venice very much, so we added two more days to our itinerary. It is worth experiencing this city. We hope to come back next time~

The hotel is on a separate island and there is only this hotel on the island. The environment is well maintained. There is a pool and restaurant on the roof. You can see the main island of Venice. In terms of transportation, there is a ferry to and from San Marco Square on the main island. The boat and the one-way shuttle bus to St. Lucia Railway Station on the main island are free. We live in small suites, the rooms and beds are large, the bathrooms and cloakrooms are large, and the experience is very good!

The hotel itself is a work of art. It is said that it was the residence of a former noble governor. Be sure to set up a landscape room with a balcony. Open the window and you can see the church on the other side of the river. The view is really amazing! The hotel is in a good location, about ten minutes walk from Luxury Street, Phoenix Theatre and 15 minutes from San Marco Church.

I thought the location was not that great because it was a bit inside the main island, but when I stayed there myself, I felt a very quiet and relaxed local atmosphere, so it was really nice. The boat station is 2-3 minutes from the hotel, so it's easy to get around. (The boat comes frequently, and you can get to the center of the main island in 15-20 minutes.) The Sant'Elina Hotel has better facilities and is clean compared to other hotels. A family of 4 stayed there, and there was a king-size bed and a sofa bed, so we slept comfortably and spaciously. The best thing about this hotel is that the breakfast is really delicious. It was nice to be able to eat a delicious breakfast made with fresh ingredients every morning.

When traveling by yourself, the first priority is the location. Let's talk about the location first: It's 8-9 minutes' walk from Santa Lucia Station, which is OK. The only problem is that if you carry a large luggage, you have to cross a bridge, which is a bit painful, but the rest is fine. I feel a little nervous about the Jiangnan water town after playing around in Venice. In fact, it only takes half an hour to walk from the hotel to St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. If you wander around a little bit, you can visit Venice in one day (not counting other island activities), so this location is completely no problem from the attractions, after all, you have to go around in circles. Let's talk about food and beverage: We didn't eat in the hotel, but went to mare magno across the river from the train station. I highly recommend this small restaurant. In addition, there are many small restaurants around the hotel, and it is convenient to eat. Finally, let's talk about the service, which is pretty good. A large bottle of free purified water and a small box of exquisite chocolate seat welcome gifts were specially prepared. The hotel can also provide package storage after check-out, which will not affect travel.

The location is the best! The room is old, but the stay is very comfortable. I drove here and asked the hotel to arrange parking service, pick up and drop off from the parking lot to the hotel. The trip was good, but the price was expensive. When I left, the hotel did not explain clearly that the parking fee was not included in the 220 euro price! The ”taxi boat” was also borne by the guests. I was a little disappointed when I left. I paid a high price, but I felt that the hotel took advantage of it... Of course, everything in Venice is expensive, but I think the hotel can provide better service! Overall, there is room for improvement! Next time I go to Venice, I will change to another hotel!

This is the first time I write a review on Ctrip. I'll say that when you are away from home, don't be too hypocritical, and don't ask and expect too much. But this time I can't help but tell the truth. Let's talk about the price first. 1. The standard large room of this hotel is more than 4,000 yuan per night. This room type is enough for two people. After arriving at the hotel, we still asked how much it would cost to upgrade to a better room, and the front desk receptionist took us to see two upgraded rooms with different decoration styles, but it would cost about 350-400 euros. In the end, we gave up because of the price and felt it was not worth it. In addition to the larger space, although there is a sea view, it is not a floor-to-ceiling window. 2. The design style is dark. I personally think that this hotel should be suitable for young people under 25 years old who are avant-garde in art. It is a personalized design boutique hotel. For other business travelers with high comfort requirements/poor eyesight or older people, forget it, because it is really a bit dark, a bit dark, and the practicality of various buttons in the room is really a bit brain-consuming. It is more recommended to choose a chain brand five-star hotel). At least those brands are more mature in operation, the service is also very professional, and the courtesy is more diverse. 3. The reception is not good enough. There is no pick-up service. This is a hotel on the main island. If you come here, you can book a water taxi ticket at the airport (140 euros for two people, a special boat, 20-30 minutes to get off at the hotel door, it is quite smooth.), but you will be very embarrassed when you leave the hotel. Anyway, we are going to Lucia Railway Station to take 🚞 to Milan. The hotel staff did not provide any service to help us see off. You know, guests like us from the ”Eastern Tang Dynasty” have several suitcases and have to travel through several cities. We dragged several heavy luggage all the way, and there were 5-6 bridges on the cobblestone road and 20 minutes of walking. Oh my God! Where is the decency of staying in a boutique hotel? ! ! It's really ironic! ! As a hotel of this price on the island, a representative hotel, it is marked as the No. 1 luxury hotel in Venice on Ctrip... It really made me feel very, very bad. 3. I am quite satisfied with the hotel breakfast. You have to order a set meal on the spot, which is freshly made and not self-service, probably to avoid waste. As shown in the picture, the drinks, water, snacks, etc. in the mini bar in the room are all free. 4. If you are a little superstitious, you don’t have to choose this hotel, because the standard room is a sky view room, which is really depressing, with insufficient light, and dark style design. I almost brought my own black magic. There is also an art installation in the corridor at the door of my room. As shown in Figure 1, there are all kinds of monsters moving in a pool of mud... Just think about it and your stomach will tremble! When we checked in, we were very nervous, and we could only stay in this state of mind. The reason why I have such a long talk is to avoid many compatriots from stepping on thunder. In fact, Venice is very small. One day on this island is enough for you to play. It is similar to you visiting an ancient town in China, but the architectural scenery in Europe is more outstanding. There is no need to stay on this main island. Leave more time to other fun cities!

The hotel is a treasure. Beautifully appointed, great beds and linen, modern bathroom with lots of hot water and fantastic towels. The maids were meticulous. It has a fabulous breakfast area with attentive staff. The front desk is staffed 24 hrs. It’s not far from the public water taxi station and a short walk to the airport water taxi station at the Hilton. Because it is on Giudecca island it is quiet at night and restful. There are good restaurants nearby, a pharmacy and food market on the canal blvd. Wifi worked really well. Highly recommended. PS Bring bug repellant for Venice.

The room is spacious, this is a plus, but there were no toothbrushes in the room, we used a shower cap, no one put a new one, which is extremely strange for 5 stars. On the table was a welcome letter with someone else's first and last name, such an oversight is also very interesting. A huge minus that overshadowed the stay was mosquitoes, the fumigator, which we went to ask for at 2 am also did not help right away, as a result, the night turned out to be sleepless. We left early, the breakfast that they packed for the road was very modest, for two two apples, two waters, two juices, one tiny croissant and the same size pastry made of puff pastry with chocolate and two small yogurts that need to be eaten with a spoon, which they did not give with you, there were no napkins either. The hotel does not pull for its 5 stars at all. Well, or we are used to the fact that 5 stars are a slightly different level.

This was the best place we stayed at in Italy! Really pretty and big with all the essentials you need. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything including free snacks, juice, soda, water, tea, coffee and fruits. They also provide us we slippers, lotion that smells really good, bathroom essentials and other things we didn’t find in a lot of other hotels/airbnbs. The service was phenomenal and the people here are so friendly. We were presented with some welcoming gifts and lots of help during our stay. This hotel also has its own private dock which was very convenient for us to go to the train station with a booked private water taxi through the hotel. The taxi brings us right to the side in front of the station and we didn’t have to carry our luggages up the stairs and across the bridge had we gone on a public water taxi (the price is pretty close). Definitely recommend and would come back again next time in Venice!
