"It was a great stay in this hotel overall. The staff was friendly and helpful in fixing the problem and providing information. The breakfast included was good. The room is spacious, and the decoration of the hotel is beautiful. The location is around 15~20 minutes walk to the station, and there are many stores around so it was good."

"After exiting Venice's Santa Lucia train station, you'll walk about a kilometer down the main street to your left, then duck into some winding alleys to find this hotel. I got lost on my first try, crossing the bridge from the station and ending up on the wrong side, which added a lot of extra walking. The hotel definitely shows its age. It's quiet, and the exterior is clean. However, the room facilities are quite old, especially the bathroom. The bedding is clean, and you can still see hints of its past luxury in the decor, like crystal chandeliers. There was only one complimentary bottle of water in the room. They did provide two small tubes of toothpaste, which I haven't seen in other Italian hotels. The hotel's location is super convenient for shopping. Breakfast was good, and they offer a free afternoon tea with bread and coffee."

Very well located near San Marcos Piazza, the Bascilica and Doge Palace. Easy to walk to Rialto Bridge or San Marcos vaporetto station as well. However, the triple room which I booked, does not have even flooring, so it does make me a little dizzy. But it was ok once I’m on the bed. The hotel has a strange rule to collect a copy of the credit card for guarantee.i thought such process may be subject to credit card fraud risk. Overall, I’m still happy with this hotel at the price point for its location.

The room was a significant departure from the pictures advertised, which was a bit disappointing. However, the hotel's location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Having breakfast outdoors right by the Grand Canal offered truly fantastic views. A minor point: there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, which might be an unexpected oversight for Chinese guests accustomed to this amenity in hotels. That said, the primary reason we chose this hotel was its convenient location for sightseeing, so these other issues were secondary.

The location is the best! The room is old, but the stay is very comfortable. I drove here and asked the hotel to arrange parking service, pick up and drop off from the parking lot to the hotel. The trip was good, but the price was expensive. When I left, the hotel did not explain clearly that the parking fee was not included in the 220 euro price! The ”taxi boat” was also borne by the guests. I was a little disappointed when I left. I paid a high price, but I felt that the hotel took advantage of it... Of course, everything in Venice is expensive, but I think the hotel can provide better service! Overall, there is room for improvement! Next time I go to Venice, I will change to another hotel!

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

I specifically chose this hotel because it has direct access to the water, allowing us to arrive by water taxi straight from the airport. The location is absolutely perfect—ideal both for arriving by boat and for exploring the city on foot. The only thing worth mentioning is that the hotel could benefit from some renovation. Personally, I think even small cosmetic improvements would make a big difference—for example, replacing the grout and silicone seals in the bathroom so they look fresh, clean, and bright again. This would make the rooms feel even more attractive while preserving the hotel's charm. The reception team kindly recommended several excellent restaurants in the city, and every recommendation turned out to be fantastic. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop terrace with breathtaking sunset views. The bold seagulls that regularly visit are all part of the unique Venetian atmosphere and added to the experience! Breakfast offers a great variety of choices, and the staff throughout the hotel are exceptional—professional, warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Thank you very much for making our stay in Venice so memorable. We truly enjoyed our time and hope to return again!

Alomost perfect but “Check in Guide” As guests who just booked the hotel several days ago, we didn’t receive an email about how to find the hotel. So we used google map. But got lost nearby. Thus, we decide to share our experience to help potential guests. Firstly, when you find this little square with a statuette(picture 1). You can go across the little bridge then turn left. Don’t walk too much. The hotel is just near the bridge. Actually we spent around 30 minutes walked around this place. But seldom people knew this building’s location . And we got cold because of October’s weather in Venice. In short, after going across the bridge, you should turn left and almost immediately turn right. The gate of hotel is close to “Campiello Diego” and a bar. Unluckily, the phone number on Trip.com is wrong. So we find a number on the door and add the front desk’s WhatsApp. The front desk replied immediately, and we finally got the pin and entered the room. The room is new. And the view is beautiful. Unless the “finding hotel” process, we like this hotel. BTW, the restaurant attached is very good. Waiters are helpful and generous there. They will treat you appetizer, dessert and two little cups of alcohol. Their spaghetti is good. Hope our information can help you~

A good place to stay in Venice cheaply. The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and it’s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. I’d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus.

We arrived at the hotel on January 12th at 10:30 PM. The room was absolutely amazing and split over two levels. On the ground floor there was a bathroom and a separate shower. Everything was very beautiful, clean, and in perfect working condition. The shower did not leak at all, and there were no unpleasant smells. On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a large bed and an additional sofa. The room was equipped with a large Smart TV, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, and a hairdryer. We were also provided with two 0.5 L bottles of water. There was both a heater and air conditioning, and everything worked perfectly, so it was not cold at all. The location is excellent. It may look a bit confusing on the map at first, but we figured it out quickly. When you see the shop “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, turn immediately to the right. You will see an old public telephone, and between the buildings there is the hotel entrance (the hotel name is written on the door). All access codes worked without any problems. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner is a very kind and welcoming lady truly wonderful. She speaks English and cleans the rooms daily. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned, you can simply inform her or hang the sign on the door. The tourist tax is €3 per person per day. We absolutely loved everything. Out of all the places we have stayed in (priced between €20 and €60 per night), this hotel and room are without a doubt our number one favorite. Thank you so much. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay here again. ❤️

I like the room and the service provided like I need to open alcohol bottle. The staff is very helpful and finish it in short time but the toilet sink was blocked and I could handle it.
