Pros: - Excellent and helpful staff who do their best for the comfort of their guests. - Good design, everything you need in the room. Cons: - Our room (115) is constantly dark, no sunlight penetrates there. Because of the darkness, the room constantly smelled of dampness and mold. The staff brought us a dehumidifier, but it didn’t help us, the humidity in the room was 85-90% (we stayed in May, in the dry season). - Because of the dampness and darkness, there is a lot of mold in the room: on the ceiling, on the headboard, on the curtains. - The exhaust fan in the bathroom also worked very poorly, the steam from the bath almost did not disappear. - The air conditioner in the room turned on and off randomly, changed modes. We called the staff to sort out the problem, they said that they fixed it, but nothing changed. - The curtain for the bath was installed incorrectly in the room. I suppose that it should not be possible to see what is happening in the bath. But it turned out the other way around: you can see everything that's going on in the bath through the curtain, but you can't see what's going on in the room from the bath. - The hotel's pool was dirty most of the time, and the tiles at the bottom of the pool were also dirty. - The hotel's amenities indicated that there was a laundry room, but it turned out that the hotel didn't have one. To sum it up: this is a new hotel, which has become moldy in just a few months, and the pool has also deteriorated. It's scary to imagine what will happen to this building in a few years.

Good service and facility is new, The Kemilau is a charming boutique hotel offering elegant rooms, attentive service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Good location and good amenities in general. BUT the sound proof is very very bad, I could hear ppl talking from next door and the music/ singing from outside. The toilet sink still has then contact lenses from the previous guest… On the arrival, the aircon was leaking, and the only solution given is to move the bed and no other compensations. We changed our room on the 2nd day, the staff promised to move our things to the new room, and they missed out my shoes during the move, I have to rent shoes for the batur hike, there is also no solution or compensation, more like “ sorry we cannot find” Nice stay but will not come back again.

Staff are nice, the location is convenient, many good restaurant located around the hotel.

A new hotel in an amazing location. It’s a short walk to a variety of top restaurants and shops. The monkey forest is also walkable. The breakfast may lack the variety of a buffet, but it is healthy and delicious, preparing you for a day of enjoying the lovely city of Ubud. The pool and gym are both great. The rooms are clean and spacious with amazing balconies.

Gorgeous new hotel!!! Location in the center of Ubud, shops, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies nearby. The room is magnificent, stylish design, clean, breakfasts are very tasty!!! Thanks to all the staff!!! Prosperity to the hotel!!! I recommend!!!

The hotel facilities are new and clean. The gym faces the pool and the woods, which feels very good. The location is also good, and you can eat out when you go out.

Gorgeous room. Spacious. Intimate designer renovation. And here are all the pluses. You can hear all the movements in the hallway in your room, not taking into account the construction until 21:00. There is practically no Wi-Fi: it connects and then flies off. Breakfast according to the menu. On the second day, we were warned that we were leaving on an excursion at 6:00, we would have breakfast early. We came to the restaurant everything was closed, everyone was sleeping. In the end, they made breakfast quickly, but disgusting - heartburn all day. The next breakfast was better, but not very. The place is very noisy.

It was very comfortable and the location was good. The staff were very enthusiastic and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they gave me fruit and coffee every day. The bathroom was clean and the pool was great. I would visit again.

The hotel is located in a busy area, there are many cafes around. On the way to the monkey forest there are many shops and exchange offices. The hotel is new, everything is clean and beautiful. The pool is small, we did not go to it, but people sometimes swam. There is a squirrel living next to the hotel, sometimes it runs on the roof, at first we were scared by the running sound, then we got used to it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Keep in mind that the layout of the room is made in such a way that between the toilet and the room there is an empty area without a wall, accordingly, sounds will be heard, this is probably important if you are traveling as a couple (m + f) 😁 for us girls it was okay.
