Mixed review regarding this hotel.
Location: In the centre of China Town and right above a 7/11.
Positives - Good location to the metro, about a 2 minute walk and then one tube to most destinations. Good places to eat around and good atmosphere from China Town although it can be very busy.
Negatives - Above a 7/11 and so from our room you could hear the sound it makes every time somebody walks in.. it is 24h so this got a bit frustrating
Hotel: Very good price. Just needed for 1 night while we waited for our flight home.
Positives - Modern looking. Not 100% like the photos on the website but I don’t think hotel rooms ever are due to editing etc. Spacious rooms with a comfy bed. Microwave and fridge. Air con. Nice bathroom. Friendly staff.
Negatives - Very noisey air con in our room. Was making a horrible cracking noise so in the end I turned it off then woke up VERY hot due to it being 35 degrees outside.
Was absolutely eaten alive by mosquitos despite not having the window open.
Very thin walls/doors. Could hear people in the hallway and noise from other rooms. Kept me awake a lot. Family’s in the morning talking in the hallway was really annoying. Not really the hotels fault for other inconsiderate guests but just be aware you will be kept up if you encounter them!
Was good for the money paid and in a good location. Don’t think I could have stayed for more than 1 night though.

This option is incredibly budget-friendly, yet it's remarkably clean and cozy, with a staff that's exceptionally friendly. They not only fulfilled all my requests but went above and beyond, making the check-out process a breeze. I'm truly grateful for their assistance.

This is our 3rd times stay at Grand China Hotel. The bus stop for Bus 204 is infront of the hotel beside the barber stop.A 13B ride on this bus can take me to MBK Siam Cener, Siam Paragon,Central World ,Erawan Shrine,Big C ,Patunam market,Indra Square and Pallidium mall. It's more convinient for us to take the bus 204 than the MRT and change to BTS.The bus took us not more than 30 minute if the traffic is smooth. The MRT is 10 minutes walk to Wat Mangkon station and alternatively also can walk to Ratchawong Pier for the river boat if we are heading to Icon Siam,Asiatique or Nonthaburi.Around the hotel is the Yaowarat street food scene and main restaurants. The sampeng market ,mobile and eye accessories wholesale market is also around the hotel. The Breakfast was average about 6.5/10.I was upgraded to a triple room by the hotel and come with welcome drinks which I went to bar to drink on the 2nd day.We even flag a taxi to Thanon Tanao Tiger shrine for our prayer offering .

My accommodation is not in a deep alley, but it has a lot of privacy. The architecture is very beautiful. The room is also beautiful and very clean. When I checked in, it was quite late, almost 10 pm. I was able to do it myself because there was a key box in front of the house for me to enter the code. It was very easy. I slept very comfortably. I was impressed.

It's in a good location, a little away from the hustle and bustle of Yaowarat. We went there during Loi Krutong season, so we got a krathong in our room, and the service was great. If I had to say one thing, it was that there were small insects in the room. Also, the soundproofing was a little weak, but the room was clean and convenient!

It's a B&B type. When I arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon, no one responded when I rang the doorbell. I called at 3 o'clock and told them the password at the door, so I could go up to the room by myself! There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room, but there are no other problems, very good
Very good The price is economical. The owner provided very good service. I really like it. The air conditioner is cool and the bed is soft. 10 full points, 10 full points ❤️😂

Very quiet and great location on the back street of Chinatown.
I was able to spend a lot of time with five families.
The room we stayed in was on the third floor. Because there are only stairs, women with a lot of luggage may be a little difficult.
It's a little disappointing that the hot water in the shower was almost water. Well, Bangkok is hot, so that's okay ^_^
The rest is perfect!!
I will definitely stay again.
Thank you very much.

AAnonymous UserThe advantage is that it's cheap and close to the MRT station. It's clean and tidy.
The disadvantage is that there is no elevator, so you have to carry large and small luggage.
The soundproofing is not very good, so don’t choose a room by the window.
The outdoor air conditioner unit is very loud outside and is close to the road.
There is also a room by the window in the side room. If the other rooms on the same floor open and close the door,
They all have a resonance effect, and they are often woken up by the opening and closing of doors in other rooms in the middle of the night.
I stayed there for two days and didn’t get much sleep. I’m super tired.
The hotel is located in the old town. If you want to eat Jay Fai, it takes about 10 minutes to walk, but after 8pm, everything nearby is closed.
It takes nearly 7 to 8 minutes to go to the nearest 7-11.

EEVGENIII really liked the hotel. We took a room with a large bed and a sofa for a child. The room was spacious and clean. There were free drinks and goodies in the room) the bed was beautifully decorated with rose petals, and there were balloons on the table) shower and toilet - not in the room - shared on the floor. Perhaps this is the only minus, everything else is super)
It is obvious that the owners care about the guests - a lot of little things are thought out for convenience. There is a shared kitchen with a sitting area (sofa, TV). The kitchen also has all the necessary equipment. Nearby is Chinatown.
In general, we liked everything, we recommend)

LLAUVery nice hotel, looks brand new. The price is slightly high for that area but I fully enjoy my room which is quite big. The staff are very polite and I enjoy swimming in the smallish pool. The hotel is about 12 minutes walk from Chinatown where shopping and food are good. Since it is at a distance from Chinatown, you can enjoy the tranquility and be away from the hustle and bustle. Will come to stay here again and bring family along.

MMin_meowVery good location, very convenient to travel
On the road, easy to find, focus on traveling, not on relaxing because the noise on the road is quiet until almost midnight
The cafe downstairs, the coffee is very delicious
Attached welcome drink picture 😀

SShawn_BrowIt's relatively close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk away. Don't take a taxi because the driver will quote you high prices. The hygiene is average, the environment decoration is ordinary and the walls are thin boards and there is no soundproofing. It is also a self-service check-in. The boss does not answer any calls when I call. Check-in is very troublesome, but the location is close to Hua Lamphong Station, so girls choose carefully.
