We stayed three nights at Nirvana Resort in early July and loved our time there. Spectacular location, the grasslands are alive with flowers and birds, and everyone at Nirvana was kind and helpful. We had our own car (ideal if possible) and alongside visiting Labrang Monastery and walking in the nearby hills, we also enjoyed driving around the backroads into Qinghai and immersing ourselves in the landscape. At the end of each day it was perfect to climb the hill to the Sky Bar and drink a beer while watching the land grow dark.

The last stop of our Gannan trip was also the one that left the worst impression on us. When we first arrived at the hotel, we thought the service was ok. They helped us carry our luggage to the room, but the following experience greatly reduced our experience. When we arrived at the wooden house, someone came to let us ride horses. Because we were in the accommodation area, we thought it was a hotel, so we asked the price of 100 yuan for half an hour of riding in a big circle. There were 6 people riding horses, but we didn't know that they came back in less than 10 minutes. We didn't know where the person who agreed with us went, and we were threatened by the horseman. We found the hotel to help us deal with it, but we could only suffer a loss of 20 yuan to keep things quiet. We were all Tibetans and we were out again. This was the only depressing part of this trip. The room was generally ok. The upper bunk is not easy to climb up, the bathroom smells quite bad, there is nothing to eat around, it is very far, very far, very far from the county town and it is not convenient (Important things should be said three times). In fact, I don’t recommend staying here. Secondly, the hotel breakfast is too late. Since it is a homestay, it should have a sense of service, not catering to your time. The meal is not served until 8:30, which affects the departure. I saw several rooms were pushed with luggage by themselves at 8 o'clock. There was no one at the front desk in the morning of the second phase, so you don’t need to collect the deposit. In the morning, you have to wait for the front desk to refund the deposit, and you have to pull the luggage yourself. I shouted in the group for a long time to drive a tricycle to tow the luggage. This homestay is newly opened and it is really good. The elderly at home took the children to travel there. I helped the elderly to book the elderly. The elderly were very satisfied with this stay. The little brother of the hotel was very enthusiastic. He gave my parents Hada, sent fresh fruit, and added ice and sprite. He also helped to park and take luggage. Environment: The geographical environment of the camp is in a grassland pastoral area. It is far away from the main road and is not noisy. It is in a quiet corner, but it is very convenient to drive by yourself. The accommodation environment is great in the pastoral area when traveling with children and family. The homestay is on the edge of the grassland (accurate navigation), with grassland and rolling mountains at the door. There are flocks of sheep passing by the camp, and in the distance, groups of yaks and horses are walking under the blue sky and white clouds. Sitting on the wooden terrace, drinking hot milk tea and watching the sheep and cattle, it seems like being in an idyllic world like an oil painting. The most surprising thing is that on a clear night, the Milky Way crosses the sky like a bright ribbon. It is the first time I see the Milky Way with my naked eyes! This starry sky feast that is hard to find in the city is unforgettable.
Although it is a grassland tent camp, the facilities are far beyond expectations: 24-hour constant temperature hot water, dry and wet separation bathroom, and electric heaters that continue to heat all night completely dispel the chill of the plateau. The ******* staff sisters smiled very brightly and sincerely. They not only helped us move our luggage to the entrance of the tent, but also sent extra mineral water and helped us contact the surrounding herdsmen to help us experience horseback riding. The hotel is quite remarkable. It's a ten-minute walk to the station and an eight-minute walk to Labrang Monastery. The hotel is probably the best on that street. It's more convenient and the staff is friendly. The room is very big and the sanitary conditions are OK. Overall it's great. I will stay here again next time I come to Xiahe.

GGuest UserThe Sangke Grassland in the south bank of Gannan is a place recommended by many people. Looking at the introduction and reviews, I chose the Suida Ranch. It is named after the ranch. There is a hillside of yak, sheep and horses. The residential area is on another hillside. The view is wide and scattered with a few wooden houses and tents. The whole is more inclined to integrate with nature. The tent is clean and tidy, with a separate bathroom and a separate place for bathing. When entering the tent, it seems to open the Harry Potter tent in the Quidditch World Cup. The sight is full of beautiful scenery, and you can do the tabletop with a single shot. When we arrived, there was a white Hada welcome. The boss was careful and patient. He took us to experience grazing, riding horses and yaks to milk, visiting the herdsmen's black tent, and we were very happy to eat the Tibetan family banquet. The ranch also often saw fat groundhogs. I like to sit on the platform in front of the door and empty myself. During the day, I smell the fragrance of flowers and plants and watch the sky and the clouds, listen to the joyful singing of birds, watch the cattle and sheep eat grass, and watch the stars at night, especially leisurely.
Reminder: 1. The grassland sea is dialed above 3,000. The first time you come to this height, you may be a little high. You can prepare in advance or inhale oxygen when you react. 2. The temperature difference between day and night is large, especially when watching the stars at night is quite cold, you need a thick coat, and the room has electric heating.
