AAnonymous UserJust a ten-minute walk from the Red House and Jonker Street Night Market. Melaka is small, so taxis around the city are very affordable. The room was spacious, but not soundproof. It seemed like there was a festival during my stay, as I could hear chanting from downstairs very clearly, both morning and night. The buffet breakfast mainly featured local dishes, with very few green vegetables. The front desk staff offered Chinese-speaking service.

JJoey PakLast minute trip to melaka. The unit is very comfortable and very clean. Check in process is quick and easy. From the balcony you still see the city, it is beautiful at night and breezy too. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. There's WiFi and TV box for some chill time. Owner is friendly and informative. She recommended some cafe hopping places to us. The owner recommended us the restaurant at lv44 and had asked us to present the residence access card for 10% discount. Food and drinks are delicious, definitely recommended to have lunch and dinner there.

GGuest UserLet me give a thorough review of this hotel! This was my second stay, and I feel it's necessary to start with the first visit. About 7 or 8 years ago, when the hotel first opened, I stayed for one night. In the middle of the night, there was a false fire alarm. The crucial point was that the fire alarm broadcast was in Malay. For an emergency like a fire, shouldn't the primary language be English? Our whole family walked down the stairs from over the 10th floor to the ground floor, only to find it was a false alarm. Imagine, half-asleep in the middle of the night, dragging family members down the stairs, and we also encountered many elderly people descending. We didn't complain that time; we understood, as it had just opened. We just reported the situation, and the hotel didn't say much. After 7 or 8 years, I decided to experience it again and booked two nights. I was a bit disappointed upon check-in because the large shopping mall next door was closed, and the surroundings seemed desolate. 'Oh well,' I thought, 'I'll just get some rest early.' Our habit is to leave a light on in the bathroom at night for convenience. Unfortunately, the bathroom glass had no curtain, so the light was completely unobstructed (photos attached as proof). After finally falling asleep, the power in our room went out in the middle of the night, waking up the whole family due to the heat. The room and hallway were pitch black. Please try to imagine that feeling of darkness. I called the front desk, and they said our floor had a power outage, but not the rest of the hotel. Eventually, the power came back on. However, our whole family couldn't get back to sleep from 4 AM until dawn. The next day, I contacted Trip.com and the duty manager. The hotel agreed to change our room, and the duty manager offered two complimentary buffet dinners. This message is purely to express my genuine feelings. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, the bed is a bit soft, there's significant afternoon sun, and the air conditioning temperature control isn't very responsive. However, the hotel staff are truly excellent, providing sincere service. But the thought of poor sleep at the hotel, the unobstructed bathroom light, the false fire alarm, and the power outage issues truly make it difficult for us to return. Melaka is quite quiet now, and while the hotel has such wonderful staff, the hardware aspects are a real shame. If improvements can be made, please let us know, and we might consider experiencing it again. I sincerely wish the hotel a prosperous business.

WWenzidingdingThe room facilities are a bit old. The air conditioning was very powerful, but also quite noisy. We stayed during Chinese New Year and even received a red envelope with 80 cents in coins inside! The hotel's location is good; you can walk to the core tourist area of Malacca, about a ten-minute stroll to Jonker Street.

CChai JingBooked the suite and room was really big. Came with 2 queen beds and had a separate work area big enough for meals and activities 😅 Room was clean and look well maintained. No stains or whatsoever. Very pleasant stay. The hotel staff were helpful and prompt in service. We asked to clean up the room and left for breakfast immediately after. When we returned the room was all made up, neat and tidy. Breakfast was decent. Do note though, that the take-your-own-food buffet style became semi ala carte buffet because there were not enough guests while I was there. Still, it was good enough. Kids wanted to swim but the pool was a little too tiny for our liking. We did activities outside of the hotel though so not much of an issue. Location wise. If you want something right next to malls or in the heart of the jonker area, this is probably not your best choice. We take a 10 min walk to the jonker area and it was a comfortable stroll though. Quiet enough but not too near. Overall a good stay and very happy to return.

GGuest UserThe duvet had some yellowish stains. As for the shower head, there were some water stains that weren't cleaned off properly. The facilities, like the swimming pool, were actually very small and shallow. They call it a 'recreation center,' but it's really just the size of a small restroom. (However, for the price of 100, it's not bad at all. I personally think it offers great value for money.)

AAnonymous UserOverall, it was good, but there are a few areas that need upgrading. They only gave one key, and when I requested an extra one, they asked for a RM20 deposit, even though the room deposit was already RM100. There was a TV with a channel list, but none of the channels worked. When I asked, they said it had just happened and would be fixed soon. However, I stayed for two nights, and there were still no channels to watch the entire time.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's exterior looks decent, and the location is about 1km from the attractions, a walkable distance – neither too close nor too far. There's a large shopping mall and supermarket nearby. However, the interior hygiene leaves much to be desired; the towels were a bit yellowed, and the bedsheets and duvet covers had some stubborn stains that wouldn't wash out. The price was indeed cheap, though.

LLee Oi KengCleanliness and location is good, very near Jonker street. Cons are security wise needs improvement cos anyone can just walk in and especially in the early morning when we came down, the Indian guy was sleeping at the counter and I doubt he knows who went in and out. The room is very spacious but they should provide at leastt a small piece of soap for hand washing. When we arrived at the hotel at about 1pm, since the rooms are available, why can't they just let us check in instead of having to wait till 3pm ( we heard there were less than 10 rooms occupied that night). I was abit unlucky cos 1st room issued to us was a room under maintenance, 2nd room given to us only has a towel and 1 cup for 2 pax in the room and the toilet flushing system broke down in the middle of the night, phone out of order and I had to climb up and down the stairs numerous times to ask for things. No lifts in the hotel.
