Talbott Inn

Room was excellent but during the night air conditioning leaked water on bed and my husband rolled into it. Otherwise good

The history of The Talbott Inn is very interesting. It was so cool to stay in an inn with such a rich history. I stayed in the Jesse James room and I loved it. Not a big room but was perfectly comfortable and very quiet. It was great having a historic room with modern amenities. Highly recommend staying at The Talbott Inn if you love American history.

Definitely a top notch hotel!! Loved the aesthetic of the whole property. Everything was wonderful, my only minor complaint is the road noise on the main road…but that’s nothing that anyone can do about. Can’t wait to visit again!

Room was nice. Overtop of bourbon bar where band was playing. So could hear the music. Not unexpected

We had dinner at the Talbott, and it was amazing. The free breakfast was very slow to get waited on by the one waitress and my eggs were cold. I loved the room we stayed in that had an old bank safe for a closet. It is an old building so the walls are thin, but the location and the cool old building made it worth it for us!

We checked in around 5pm on a thursday abd the had given our room to another couple one of which said they were us because they had the same last name. They were ataying 1 nighr and us for 3. The Manager offered to put us in another buikding tgen we would have to move to the room we were supposed to have the next day. I refused and insisted they mive the people who were in wrong room to begin with. The manager agreed and comped us or the one night because if the mix up. Parking at this hotel is yerrible as well. Location is great and room was nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and had a lot of charm. The bathroom was small, but adequate. The shower water pressure left a lot to be desired. It’s a very old building which is part of its charm. One issue.. They were having construction work done and all the parking was roped off. It started the day before we checked out. We should have been informed of where to park. One of the construction team directed us. Other than that, our stay was delightful..

Great little inn in the heart of Bardstown Fairly comfortable for an inn that dates to 1779, albeit with some modern upgrades Very warm and friendly staff Great made to order breakfast Only complaint was a shower that lacked temperature regulation-went from icy cold to scalding hot Staff is aware and working to correct that issue Would definitely stay again on my next trip to Bardstown

The staff was so friendly. I also loved the morning breakfast and the stay felt like a great history lesson
