We recently completed a 4-day stay at the Majestic Elegance, and unfortunately, we left feeling very disappointed. While the hotel grounds are nice, the service was far from acceptable.
The majority of the staff were unwelcoming and unprofessional. It often felt like they were doing us a "favor" by taking an order for food or drinks. On several occasions, staff members prioritized finishing their personal conversations with colleagues before even acknowledging us. This lack of basic hospitality significantly impacted our stay.
Furthermore, we tried the Escape Room on-site, but half of the puzzles were malfunctioning, which completely ruined the experience. When we brought this up during check-out, the management was completely dismissive. Despite explaining that the activity was broken and that the overall service throughout our stay was poor, the manager insisted we pay in full and told us to "send a complaint letter" later. It was clear they were more interested in the payment than in guest satisfaction.
Regarding the food: while there is plenty of variety, the quality is lacking. Most of the dishes were dry and lacked flavor. It looks good, but it simply doesn't taste good.
Overall, due to the poor service and the indifferent management, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are many other options in the area where guests are actually treated with respect and hospitality.
