Beach Hotels in Barcelona

Excellent hotel! Great location, very close to the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are new and spacious. The only minor downside is the lack of a bathtub. The staff are all very enthusiastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Barcelona.

Overall, I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. For a four-star establishment, I expected more. Some areas of the hotel seem a bit dated, giving it the impression of a package tour hotel rather than a modern city hotel. The pool area is decent, but nothing special. The artificial turf doesn't look particularly high-quality, and the pool's atmosphere didn't win me over. Guests often sit in the water with cocktails, which doesn't exactly contribute to a relaxed ambiance. The lobby and lounge also feel rather cold and uninviting. While there is a bar, it unfortunately lacks a genuine bar atmosphere or coziness. I believe there's significant room for improvement here. The room itself was tidy, but the refrigerator could be a bit larger. It would be practical if it could accommodate ice or larger drinks. On the positive side, I'd like to highlight the beds – they were really comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. One point that particularly bothered me: the hotel descriptions barely mention that it's located directly next to a highway or a highway exit. Vehicles pass practically right by the hotel. This is less noticeable on weekends, but during the week, the traffic is clearly audible. I found the traffic noise particularly disturbing when having breakfast outdoors. Ultimately, I made the best of my stay and had a pleasant time. Nevertheless, I wouldn't classify this hotel as a particularly high-quality four-star establishment, and I would likely choose a different accommodation for my next visit to Barcelona. Overall, it was a solid, but rather average experience.

Modern furnishing. Rooms and bathrooms spacious. Quiet room. Service was top notch. Staff were welcoming. Breakfast didn’t have so much varieties , just the usual English breakfast. Hotel is near to “Town centre”. Just a walking distance. Everything you want is just around. Great restaurants and shops. Pharmacy and all. Bus is easily accessible. Sagrada  familia was just like 15 mins drive. We took a bus back. transport so easy. Bogatell beach is 10 minutes walk. Totally enjoyed our stay.

This is a basic 2 Star hotel with a small room and basic amenities. Nothing fancy here. I was not a fan of The two twin beds for a solo, but it was comfortable. Hotel and room were clean and I felt safe in both the hotel and the neighborhoods. Good proximity to El Borne and Barcelonta as well as the Metro. Good restaurants and convenience stores close. I would stay there again as it worked well to rest after full days out and about. Breakfast is good quality, fresh, and plentiful.

The location was good, within walking distance of the metro, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room preparation was delayed during check-in. Other than that, I didn't experience any problems during my stay. Overall, the hotel gives the impression of a staff shortage. The staff are quite attentive and helpful, but I think they can't keep up with the number of guests.

The room was clean and tidy with excellent natural light. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. It was well-equipped with a full set of toiletries, and the overall space felt spacious and not cramped. The location was convenient, and the service was attentive. It was a great stay with excellent value for money.

I arrived at the hotel at 2 AM after confirming by phone that arriving late and finding the parking would be easy. My mother had already arrived and paid for the parking. However, the night receptionist didn’t know where the parking was and only gave me some printed papers with directions that were confusing. Because of this, I drove around Barcelona for over 30 minutes, exhausted, stressed, and even crying. I stopped at another hotel to ask for directions, but in front of me there was a vandalized car and two men yelling, which made me feel unsafe, so I left the area. Eventually, the receptionist found that the parking was on the opposite side of the road. I only slept from 3 AM to 8 AM, and when we checked out at 10 AM, I explained the situation, but the hotel offered no solution or refund for the €25 parking. Overall, the experience was very stressful, unsafe, and the service was poor.

The hotel is right by the sea, the price is not expensive, the sea view room has a beautiful view, it takes five minutes to walk to the beach, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, swim and surf, there are many seagulls, the hotel service staff is very enthusiastic, parking is convenient, there are many restaurants around, the breakfast is very Spanish, the room is well soundproofed, the sleep is comfortable, I will stay again next time.

From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful. The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect. Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on. All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!
