Anonymous UserPros:
1. The hotel's natural environment is excellent, offering sightings of incredibly rare protected animals. They also provide a free wildlife tour, which I highly recommend. It's a fantastic experience to simply walk around the hotel and spot monkeys foraging.
2. The service is outstanding. The hotel staff are attentive and very considerate of guests. The welcome drink was delicious. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and I received a room upgrade with a great view and a spacious layout.
3. The slippers were very comfortable. The breakfast tableware was exquisite.
Cons for me:
1. The claim of being the 'most beautiful Intercontinental' is an exaggeration. Some areas even felt [as pictured], though I suppose one could call it 'unique.' Personally, I found it gaudy.
2. I strongly recommend including executive lounge access. If you arrive early, since there's no air conditioning in the public areas, the only cool indoor space to relax is the executive lounge. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting in the hotel lobby, and elderly guests and children need to be careful to avoid heatstroke.
3. The breakfast was delicious, and the fruit quality was high. However, it's baffling why the other restaurants were so bad. After reading reviews that even the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant wasn't great, I booked a package that included dinner. I paid extra to change the dishes, but they were still terrible. It was arguably the worst meal I had in Vietnam.
4. Although the hotel was uncrowded and had a good environment, the beach quality was very average, and the loungers by the sea started closing down every day at 6 PM.
In summary, I think this Intercontinental is worth staying at, but don't go in with exceptionally high expectations.

Attached photo for the view from our hotel room.
Pool (8/10): outdoor, pleasant temperature, clean water, no smell, a little small, suitable for chilling. There is also a snooker table by the pool
Room (8/10): we liked the 3 single beds which can be combined into a giant size bed for the whole family. The room is clean and has enough amenities for general usage. However, noise cancellation is almost non existent so you should hear almost everything happening outside the room.
Service (3/10): upon check-out we were told that one of the non-complementary water bottles is missing from the fridge for which we needed to pay (40,000vnd). They said there was a small paper on top of the fridge that shows the count of 2 water bottles while there was clearly only 1! The fridge was small it has space to hold only 1.5 bottles and it was so funny seeing the room guy trying to squeeze the 2nd bottle to show me that they had previously put 2 bottles in there then looked around the room finding the hidden bottle. Didn’t want to argue further so we just paid for it. Overall a pleasant experience became sour for the sake of a bottle. Would not come back again.

The Boutique Hoi An Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic, well-maintained tropical garden and colonial charm. The pool is beautifully designed, large, and suitable for both serious swimmers and casual bathers. The beach is also lovely, miles long, and quite clean for Asian standards. The spa center, which manager Mai has perfectly under control, is also highly recommended.
The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but that didn't bother us as we don't prioritize breakfast.
What was absolutely disturbing was the behavior of the reception manager upon our arrival. In an unacceptably pushy manner, he tried to pressure us into tailor services, concert events, excursions, or other commission-based services.
Visiting Hoi An Old Town is NOT worth it, contrary to what Instagram and numerous travel reports suggest. Hoi An might have been picturesque and charming in the past, but unfortunately, today it suffers from the effects of a severe backpacker and overtourism syndrome.
If you want to eat well, it's best to stay at the hotel, where there's a very good barbecue buffet, or head left down the street where you'll find some nice local restaurants.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old. Many solid wood doors have warped over time, rubbing against the solid wood floors, but this also fits the villa style. A brand new villa just doesn't quite feel like a villa.
Environment: The environment is great and quiet, especially after staying in villas near My Khe Beach for a few nights. The quiet and harmonious feeling is wonderful. It's less than 100 meters from the beach, and enjoying dinner at the hotel, feeling the sea breeze, and admiring the My Khe night view is very pleasant. The hotel is close to various attractions on Son Tra Peninsula, making it suitable for a relaxing beach vacation. However, it's best to sort out transportation in advance. It was a pity we couldn't rent an electric scooter this time, so we didn't complete the island bike tour, only doing less than half a loop.

This hotel has a great atmosphere. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. All the staff are friendly. There are many swimming pools and a beautiful beach with fine sand. When I booked, I selected 3 people, and they proactively set up an extra bed for us, which was excellent service. The breakfast was also very rich. It's an ideal hotel for a beach and swimming holiday. The only downsides are the limited and expensive food options at the hotel, and its distance from the city center. It takes over 20 minutes by taxi to get to Da Nang city center. Personally, I think Da Nang's beach scenery is nice, but the dining and urban development in the city center are far behind Ho Chi Minh City. If you like relaxing on the beach and swimming, you could stay here for a few more days. For the last two days, we moved to VOCO near My Khe Beach, which was more convenient for city walks. That beach was livelier and more crowded, whereas the Marriott was quieter, less crowded, and a bit remote.

KSENIIA KHExcellent location. New hotel. Large rooms with stunning sea views. You can sunbathe on your own balcony. Fantastic breakfasts with a wide variety to suit all tastes. The beach is just a 7-minute walk away, or you can take a shuttle bus that arrives almost immediately when someone is at the waiting area.
The hotel itself is very themed and atmospheric. There's a clean rooftop pool. It has its own indoor water park, as well as a large outdoor water park (though guests from all over the city come there). There's no need to leave the hotel; everything is provided on-site.
We would gladly return again!
Special thanks to the hotel for the lovely birthday compliments 🤗

sorainkWe were looking to get away to play tennis since we are both learning, and to a beachfront resort. Hyatt Regency Da Nang has a wonderful tennis court and beautiful beach, exactly what we need.
We have breakfast included and lounge access, so breakfast before tennis and a light dinner to close the day became our routine.
Service is a bit slow but friendly, though the English level can be challenging at times. Also, the room's layout means the AC is blowing straight into my head while I'm sleeping, which is bad. I was struggling with the AC and fan while adjusting the room temperature.
We will go back, but I would like to know if there is an alternative room with a different layout, as sleep is crucial for me.

Angelyn HaffendenBell man was excellent - so warm & friendly ! Ms Thao of Reception was helpful. Ms Anh of Cenvaree Spa was also helpful. However, rooms / hotel is old & in need to refurbishing. Spa towels did not smell nice. Massage & spa services was not that good - as though they hated their jobs ! They did not hand us the key until sharp 3 pm !! We had 2 rooms & asked if we can use 1 room but receptionist were all ”grumpy”. Staff also did not speak English very much. The location itself is good - on gorgeous Non Nuoc beach !

Hoang Sa is located 10 minutes from the beach, that's the main advantage. The area is not very comfortable for walking or picturesque but there are shops nearby, cheap laundry services, market, exchange office.
We stayed in 3 different deluxe rooms during about 3 weeks. All rooms are spacious with big beds. The air conditioner was old and working with some trouble in 2 rooms. The shower was great.
Wi fi was quite good.
There are a lot of ants around the desk in one room.
Great service at the reception and room service every day, they always brought water, toilet paper and tea.
There was some noise from the construction nearby and some karaoke outside from time to time.
The lift was fast.
They also provide baggage storage at the reception, we went away for a week and left suitcases there.
The location is not far from My An and the sights.
There are a lot of massage salons in the street, prices are affordable.

ElenaKeySpacious and beautiful room with large windows, letting in lots of light. The room also has a bathtub. The staff are pleasant and friendly, and there's a large pool on the rooftop. On the first floor, there's a gym with exercise equipment and mirrors. The second floor features a spa and sauna. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the sea and boasts a good location with shops and cafes nearby.
