Beijing Green Harbor Blue Bay Hotel (Capital Airport Xinguozhan Branch)

Not sure why this place gets such a high rating. It’s just a very average airport hotel. It’s a tad dated, simple if that’s what you’re after. We booked 3 nights. There’s nothing to do in the vicinity and you have to catch a DiDi to the China International Exhibition centre station to access Beijing city. Buffet breakfast was good and the staff helpful.

It is preferable to hire a cab from China International Convention Center Metro (Line 15) as the walk took me 30 mins to reached the hotel in Winter as I was travelling on a shoestring. The receptionist is friendly whom offered me a farewell gift after a day stayed. There are two buildings with the stayer block having a gymnasium. The room was spick and tidy with generosity of 4 free mineral water and 2 quality tea bags as compared to the other hotels I been. However, not much eateries but the hotpot restaurant staff suggested I can head to the back alley of the hotel for cheaper local foods. This hotel cost me approx $30 per night for my low budget in the vicinity as a rural homestay is not recommended due to security and travel issue.

At first, when I saw the high review score, I wondered why it was so high. So, I decided to give it a try, and it turns out it's genuinely excellent. From airport shuttle service (about 7 mins), late check-in, good and affordable breakfast (The breakfast price is 30 yuan that cheaper than the price displayed on Trip.com) . clean rooms, well-equipped amenities (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, hair dryer, gym), morning call service, incredibly helpful and friendly staff who even helped with luggage, the overall service is far better than the price paid. The price is already very reasonable. So, I highly recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay for layovers or short stays in the city. And given the chance, I would definitely use this hotel's services again.

This hotel is awesome, the people on resepsionist desk and even in.the restaurant can speak English. Room is clean and there are restaurants nearby.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They could speak some English and they would try everything to help you out with anything and make sure you have a wonderful stay! I would come back again for sure , it’s very convenient when you have a flight , they do have free shuttle bus service ! Spacious bedrooms and everything needed is there .
