Hotel’s location is very strategic, just a few steps to Tiananmen square and forbidden city, so after along way flight and reached Beijing in 1am we still can explore them. And next to this hotel there are street food that open from morning to night, so you don’t have to worry if you don’t buy hotel’s breakfast. Last but not least, you can try beijing’s famous roast duck in this hotel, nice too.

I was staying at the underground room. Maybe that's the reason there was dead cockroach found in the washroom. and the towel on the basin is full of cockroach smell. I didnt request to change a room as I'm in rushing. Despite the cleanliness can be improved, but the location is very good for sight seeing and food hunting.

Down side is that the room wifi doesn’t work and reception is poor in the room. Apart from that, location is great and duck restaurant at b1 of the hotel was good!

Superb stay experience. Accessible and centralized location, close to Tiananmen, subway, dashilan, xianyukou, etc. The hotel is clean, bed is comfortable, quiet, slippers and toiletry are replenished daily. Decoration is unique too, with great taste of old Beijing essence. Just 1% improvement: add more hanging racks in shower room. Surprise on the 600 years peking duck restaurant! Dont judge by its name: cheap hotel?? The restaurant was founded since 1416!. I will certainly come back again! Lovely and memorable short stays

Great location , near Tiananmen Sq and Gu Gong.
Behind hotel have food street with variety of street food,nice to take pic with old building. Inside hotel B1
Restaurant have Peking duck with 600 yrs of history.

The hotel is kind of ok, a bit old but tasteful. The room inside is spacious and the bed super comfortable. A very down side was the smell coming from the shower that was unbearable with the door open and woke us up in the middle of the night. The next day the cleaning lady helped a bit with more detergent however it was still super strong the next day. Recommended as location in Beijing.

Good location and close to many main attraction. Clean room but very poor noise isolation. My room basement 613 is next to a cleaner room. Door opening and knocking is terrible. Very bad experience.

10 minutes walk to Tainanmun and nearby is a street with lots of food. Good place to stay. Don't get scared when you just walk out the escalator lol... rest would be amazed you.
