From the moment I arrived, I relaxed, from the gorgeous entrance way to the grounds as you walk to reception. The place and the views are stunning. Check in was swift, the staff are super friendly and I was offered a welcome drink which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are rustic but have every amenity you need. Staff could not do enough for me. I was only sorry my stay wasn't longer.

We dropped in as a friend had recommended we look at it as we were staying elsewhere nearby. We were walking and tried it for lunch on the off chance. They were just reopening that evening after a winter break. Huge welcome. Went to see what an obviously busy kitchen could rustle up ahead of evening. Had a lovely fresh meal as improvised. Terrace sits beside mountain stream. Hotel looks good!

Magical staff, magical place. This hotel (actually the word hotel doesn’t feel all encompassing or relaxed enough) was hugely recommended by very dear friends. How wonderful that they did so. We have actually had 10 days here as we wanted to ‘chill’ and Brian to write. We have luxuriated in seriously comfortable simplicity, surrounded by incredible nature, from babbling brooks to staggering mountains, caves, walks, bird song, flowers - and eaten magnificently every evening. Total joy (NB not a beach type holiday! Though there is a glorious pool). Not sure I have ever been made to feel that our absolutely every need matters. Bliss

Fantastic hotel with exceptionally good and friendly staff. Beautiful appartments in a sort of small village set up, beautiful gardens and a great kitchen. Every meal is a joy. Great area with lots of things to see, great for walking, off the beaten track.

Visited the restaurant - indoors as rainy day. Nice setting. Ate off the set menu which was very reasonably priced. Friendly greeting from the waitress. Small but very tasty amuse bouche. Both chose the same first course which was smoked sardine fillet and roasted vegetables on toasted ciabatta. Tasty and filling. Main course was fillet of bream on a chickpea and vegetable stew with fried rice noodles. The fish was cooked perfectly and the stew was excellent. Pudding was flambee pineapple - OK but not exceptional. We chose a Malaga Moscatel dry white - super wine. The waitress provided excellent service - altogether a pleasurable experience.

We had an amazing but too short stay in this beautiful family run hotel. Superb and very friendly staff . Peaceful , relaxing and very well run. ( the owner himself got out of bed to collect us from Ronda when our taxi let us down!)

We’ve been visiting Molino for over 30 years; it was our ‘happy place’. We stayed last September, after Andy and Pauline left, and had a good experience (whilst missing their presence). This year, whist we were warmly welcomed by Inma and Victor, things were different. We no longer felt like valued guests, more like a number and after 24 hours we checked out. It was a very sad day for us; we won’t be returning.

Beautiful hotel with well designed bedrooms - many very individual with feature terraces. Well kept gardens and terraces - lovely swimming pool. The food is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. If you want a ‘switch off’ holiday this is the place to go. Lovely for walking - also the nearby station is useful for places such as Ronda. I felt at home immediately and very much hope to return.

We (family of 4, children aged 14 and 11) have just spent a lovely 4 nights at Molino del Santo. The hotel grounds are beautiful - lush, green planting everywhere, a pretty vine-covered pergola, varied and secluded lounging areas and a good sized pool at the centre. Our room (number 8) was a great size for a family of 4, split over 2 levels with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies. Furnishing is simple but the rooms are nice and clean. The restaurant was lovely - food was excellent and the staff friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was also varied and extensive. The location is good - a short drive into Ronda and also with walking/running routes straight from the hotel. Cuevo de Gato is 2.5km away along a riverside footpath. We really enjoyed our stay at Molino del Santo and were sad to leave.
