Can never go wrong at The Marriot! From start to finish, service was top notch. Concierge went above and beyond to make reservations, provide in depth knowledge of sightseeing, Travels etc superbly talented men at the concierge. Lounge was as extraordinary as the rest. Canapés were almost a full dinner service with appropriate wines and draft beer. Tte suite was spacious . Only issue was my bed, think it was a little to soft for me. Son and his cousins enjoyed the pool and gym facilities. And room service was yummy! They saw to all our questions and provided necessary amenities such as water bottles on a daily bfast. Love this hotel! Luxury and convenient- best combination

The Ritz-Carlton never disappoints me every time. The hotel is located at the entrance to Potsdamer Platz, with convenient transportation. There is an Oriental Chinese supermarket under the station, which is very convenient for shopping. It is a few minutes' walk to the Jewish Memorial and the Brandenburg Gate. The hotel facilities gym and fitness equipment are great. The hotel breakfast is very worthwhile, the quality and variety of fruits are excellent, and everything else is also very good. The room facilities are first-class, but the toilet and shower room are together. Be sure to wipe the floor dry after taking a shower, otherwise you may fall down.

The location and physical aspects of the hotel were good. However, the service, especially from the night manager, was HORRIBLE. We booked 3 twin rooms. Note that the price is different between twin and double rooms. We arrived late at night due to flight delays and were very tired. During check in we were told that there were no more twin rooms because the hotel was full. What's the point of paying more for twin rooms if the hotel does not reserve them for us? When we asked for an extra bed to be added, we were told that there isn't enough space for it. This is not true as we had already been inside the rooms and they were big with lots of space. After much haggling and after the night manager put on a show by going in to the hotel's office for a few minutes, he came back to say that he can change one of the rooms and put in an extra bed. We were still not satisfied and so we insisted that the hotel can do something to rectify the matter. After doing another round of putting on a show, the night manager came back and said that he can now add and extra bed to another room and would also give us a 50% discount for 2 of the rooms. In addition, he said that we could take the 2 bottles of mineral bottles (these are chargeable) for free. The fridges in the rooms have sensors to detect if the drinks there are taken. The next day we checked with the reception to make sure that we would not be charged. The lady who assisted us checked and said that there was a note saying that we would not be charged. When I got my credit card statement, I found a charge for the 2 bottles of mineral water. 16 euros. Ridiculous. Throughout this ordeal, I must say that the night manager's attitude and manner were really bad. For example, I don't remember seeing him smile at all even when he first came to talk to us about the rooms. Our holiday was marred by this. Hilton is a high class brand of hotels but the service leaves a very bitter taste in our mouths.

The breakfast was excellent. I drink tea a lot and there were a variety of tea I could choose and I could choose to brew a cup or a pot of tea. They served different kind of eggs, including omelets. The room is very clean and well equipped with coffee maker and kettle.

Very convenient location, just 3 mins walk to Main Station. Signed up for member for free and received free city transportation travel card (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Tram, Bus, VBB). Breakfast at ground floor dining hall with variety of food. We enjoy the button mushroom stew with herbs, croissant is very good as well. Reception are friendly and helpful. No teabag, coffee and kettle in the room. Ground floor have bar, can ask for hot water from there. Room is clean and soundproof is super great even just right beside Main Station.

However, I did encounter some challenges during the check-in process due to the initial inefficiency of one staff member (one of the men) Once settled in, I was immediately captivated by the enormity and impeccable decor of the bedroom. It was a truly luxurious space. The bathroom was equally impressive, boasting a generous size that enhanced the overall comfort of the stay. Given these remarkable features, I can confidently say that I would choose to stay at this place again in the future. Regrettably, there was a noticeable issue with the sheets. They emitted a particular smell that slightly detracted from an otherwise outstanding experience. It would be beneficial for the management to address this concern promptly, ensuring that guests can fully indulge in the exceptional qualities of the accommodation.

The room I stayed in was a bit worn out, outdated. It faced a noisy street. However, when the window was closed the noise was reduced to almost none. On the other hand, you could hear any eventual sound from the corridor. The room didn't have an air condition, or minibar (fridge). The bathroom was tiny. The room itself was spacious, it was cleaned daily, the sheets were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Pretty decent hotel, for that price you would want to expect more, but prices in Berlin have skyrocketed recently.
