We couldn’t come for family reasons, we had prepaid 4 days in full, we knew that the reservation was not cancelled, but we hoped that the hotel would accommodate our situation and be able to return at least a small part, or move our dates, but they refused!

Un buonissimo hotel a quel minuti da piazza Taksim, molto comodo per muoversi a piedi nella zona. Camera confortevole e comoda. Il ristorante all'ultimo piano ha una vista spettacolare e ben frequentato. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. La piscina e la spa sono decisamente da migliorare.

The room was comfortable but was noisy because I was on the street side But I had taken earplugs. Food in the sky Bar was very good. my only complaint was I asked for a large glass of white wine when I went to my room and they brought a bottle which was really expensive, but I was only told the price after he opened it. Felt they took advantage of me

7 star hotel service in this beautiful hotel with outstanding view on bosphorus. Lacation, comfort, food, all is good, but service? You cant get better service anywhere like this! All of hotel personnel is so friendly and customer service oriented. Have been in more than 76 countries, houndrieds of hotels, one of the best service ever! Manager of the hotel his name is Mahmat, this guy is a gold of this hotel, just makes every guest happy being in his hotel! No other option for istanbul when im back!

I stayed at the opera hotel for 4 days and liked it so much I decided to extend my stay. I visited Istanbul with my family and we were all impressed by the warm hospitality we got to experience at the Opera Bosphorus. The view is fantastic, amenities are comfortable and food is lovely. In particular the hotel manager Mr Hayri Arpacik and the concierge we dealt with, Mr Sadiq, were helpful for day to day questions, tourist advice and room changes which was greatly appreciated. We’ve decided to stay here till New Years Eve and this hotel is a must stay in Istanbul!

The best part was the outstanding seaview and the spa (steam room and sauna). The pool was closed. They also have a Starbucks at reception which is open til late. I didn't eat anything but checked out the Skyview restaurant which has awesome views. The staff are very welcoming including Ahmed at the spa.
The surrounding area is ok but not upscale like the Beskitas area which is close by and a better choice if that's what you prefer. You can walk to the hotel from the Taskim station but it's uphill or Kabatas tram which is downhill.
