Novotel Birmingham Airport

Solihull District|0.48km from Birmingham international Railway Station
This was our first time travelling from Birmingham Airport (we usually fly from Gatwick). We always book a hotel stay for the night before our flight and due to the proximity of the Novotel to Birmingham Airport we chose to stay here. Prior to our arrival I had looked at reviews on here and reached out to the hotel requesting interconnecting rooms (we are a family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 under 12s). We were advised that the request had been noted but could not be guaranteed. Thankfully we were allocated connecting rooms with the added bonus of an amazing view! The rooms themselves were well appointed and had ample space. I really liked the mirrored doors in the bathroom! The beds were comfy and the children who slept on the rollaway & sofa bed said they were also comfortable! Rooms were clean. All the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly - including the gentleman who delivered our room service order (which was well presented and tasty)! At the time of writing bookings are required to dine in the restaurant (there is a menu inside the lifts which is also the room service menu). If you wish to dine inside of the airport (before security) then your options are Greggs,, M&S, Spar & Costa - the restaurants on the first floor are closed - I believe they are expanding the security area. Overall a great stay and should we fly from Birmingham again we would definitely stay again.

Birmingham NEC/Airport

The Premier Inn, NEC Birmingham was far better than I expected. My room was fantastic, large, airy, smelt lovely and very clean. The tea and coffee was freely available in the foyer - no hunting down staff and asking for more. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They booked taxis for me at no extra cost, they chatted and were al round welcoming. I felt really safe. It really is a place you can feel safe and comfortable. Food was very well presented and tasted fresh and cooked nicely.
Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC

Had a really great stay. It’s right beside the Resorts World shopping Mall and 5 mins from the NEC. The hotel recognised my IHG status so I got all the added benefits. Was checked in by the lovely Shannon. Our room was the Hendricks suite, I definitely recommend this room. It has a King bed, large private balcony with great views of the lake and countryside. Mini fridge, bath, safe, tea/coffee facilities, carpet, iron board, desk, good lighting. The only thing missing was bathrobes and slippers. The room service food was tasty (calamari, prawns, burger, sticky toffee pudding). My only complaint was the food wasn’t covered during transit. The bar area has a nice ambience. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good selection of food and hot/cold drinks. All the staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The gym is tiny. But there’s a pure gym nearby. I’d definitely book here again and recommend this hotel if visiting Birmingham NEC.

Moxy Birmingham NEC

As soon as you go into the revolving door you are hit by a clean fresh sent. The hotel downstairs feels modern and clean. Check in was quick and easy and we got a free complementary cocktail each as it was our first time staying at Moxy. Our room was brilliant with motion lighting under the bed and switches at the bed side for other soft lights. The view of the lake and fountain was great. Perfect location to the NEC Birmingham and across the lake you have lots of eateries. We would stay here again if ever going to the NEC.
Genting Hotel at Resorts World Birmingham

Hotel location is good, but no Novotel is close to the airport. Novotel is walking at the door of the airport glass door for a minute. This hotel is to take the airport light rail for three minutes, then get off the train for ten minutes to walk through the exhibition hall. The exhibition hall is about five minutes walk. Remember that the hotel entrance is at the pizza shop. After entering the door, the elevator is on the second floor. It is the lobby, don't go wrong or circle. The breakfast is very suitable for the Chinese stomach, and the variety is very rich. I live here because I want to participate in the cake show every November. The picture is that it is convenient to go to the exhibition hall without going too far, otherwise the mobile phone is tired. Actually, it is also very tired, stop and go all the way. The hotel is actually a Shanghai-like Heshenghui, a big shopping mall. The hotel reception is in the corner of the second floor of the shopping mall. The guest room is inside the corner building built outside the main building. I feel that the floor of the guest room is built instead of cement, but the quality is very good. . There are not many stores in the mall, the British consumption is not high in the country, and there is a little bit of Colombia in the north. It feels high consumption. There are very few other shops. There is a coffee shop costa in the mall. You can buy a sandwich clerk to help you heat up. The huge sandwich is delicious. There is a specialty store in the Swiss Lotus chocolate, and it is more cost-effective to sell chocolate. Finally, the check-out of this hotel is not to check the room, the room card can go directly to the front desk.
