Hotel Moby Dick by WP Hotels

Wonderful nice owner and a very welcome. Rooms are ok and comfortable. Close to the beach and quiet room. We had breakfast in the other hotel Riant, which is fantastic. A lot of choice, coffeemachine, fresh fruit, all kind of bread, cheese, ham etc. All very clean and very friendly.
Hotel Corner House by WP Hotels

Very nice room. Visiblely just renovated. All fresh and beautiful. Location is all top. Just next to the hotel, the stairs to the boulevard are. Bed was comfortable and kissing too. Well 2 x 1 persons so shoe slowly but surely separated. A few small points that would significantly improve the luxury in the room. A small refrigerator would be a welcome supplement. You want to have a little fresh after a long day beach /boulevard yet. (Otherwise 2 doors next to the entrance hotel is a shop that sells cold drinks at a reasonable price and is still open at evening). But in the room the refrigerator would certainly be supplementary. We closed ivm sun immediately at arrival gardens but the room had only balcony contours and you can't put anything on it. The room was hot blood now and I don't want to know how this is in the middle of the summer. The ventilator was present but the room had little stop contacts and was therefore too close to the head end of bed, which had to quickly turn it out to prevent travel on the head. The bathroom was also renovated and was also fully clean and spacious; but rubber under glass wall was cleaned well, and in some way the water was running on the floor in a corner during the shower. So, a few points of attention that would make it perfect, but we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed it.
Ibis Budget Blankenberge

Immaculately presented fairly new hotel right beside the railway station, but without any disturbance from the trains. I'd a front facing room overlooking the church and the noise insulation was faultless. The weather was very cold but the room was easily kept very warm. Enough room for a solo guest and sufficient storage - only negative was none of the coat hangers had a bar on them to hang trousers over. At quiet times the reception desk is unstaffed and you need to check-in at the adjoining Mercure - breakfast is also served there on quiet days. The buffet selection at both hotels is to very good standard. A very secure hotel as you need a 6 digit PIN to access the main door, lift and bedroom. The price however wasn't ”Budget”, but was in line with an expensive cost of living compared to the UK where I live. I'd be delighted to stay here again.
