The hotel is conveniently located overlooking the ferry terminal, and they were kind enough to pick us up when we arrived. The facilities are well appointed and clean, and very calming. We enjoyed a very good dinner, as well as breakfast. Parking is limited, and space in Bonifacio generally seems to be at a premium. (Simply the reality of a town perched on a cliff). Not a problem, but something to keep in mind. Getting to and from the road to the reception area involves a series of steps - limiting baggage is advised. The hotel staff were quick to offer assistance with the bags, which we appreciated.

We stayed in the Citadel part, which sits up on a hill over looking the port with gorgeous views. The rooms are very comfortable and the outdoor pool and lounging areas are beautiful. We loved Bonifcaio and the location of Hotel Genovese.

This converted fort is a very cool property. It is conveniently located above water, close to old town and with beautiful views of the Mediterranean & marina below. Our room was huge, nicely decorated and had an enormous patio with lots of furniture and great views. The room was quiet at night. Everything was perfect except the air conditioning unit was totally inadequate to cool the huge room at night. Opening the windows would have not helped as Bonafacio was experiencing a heat wave. The warm room disrupted our sleep as we were sweating all night. Several of our travel companions experienced a similar problem. It’s truly a shame as our stay here was otherwise a very positive experience.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. The spa is amazing. There’s a steam room and sauna and a plunge pool. It’s beautiful.

Great spa amenities and location. Room (without a view) a bit small and not to the standard expected. Looks a bit dated and for the price point we expected something better. Good experience overall.

Amazing views of the harbour and sea. The ancient city walls are all around the pool which is very cool. We had drinks in an ancient turret, which was a great experience.
The location is also fantastic as you are in the old town.
We both enjoyed the lunch we had in the hotel and the drinks we had.

Very beautiful hotel, the location is great, staff friendly rooms quite big and clean. The view is spectacular specially if your room has a balcony. Would definitely recommend

Stayed two nights in this boutique hotel, that is located on a beautiful spot overlooking the harbour. Comfortable and very clean room and kind staff at the front desk and the breakfast buffet. Definitely recommended. One downside: in the afternoon it’s not possible to order bites at the pool like calamari or other ‘at the pool-food’ because the kitchen is closed.

Special commendation to the receptionist (sorry, I didn't get her name), exceptional service. Wonderful hotel, delicious breakfast, quiet, very well located, unforgettable. Would love to return and spend more time there.
