Supernice and supergood hotel, marvelous room and central downtown location. Normally i book rooms in the 100-150E range. I decided to go a bit more luxurious and i tremendously enjoyed it. Im an easy going traveler, i was i Bordeaux to assess architecture and urbanism projects. I rented a bike to go around the city. The hotel staff is very naturel an friendly, no rush to empty your wallet but rather making sure you have a great time... Best hotel experience i had i a lon time travelling the globe. Wholeheartedly recommended!! Bordeaux is the best French City!

Very nice small luxury hotel! Excellent location, close to the center of Bordeaux, walking distance to all of the best restaurants and shopping!! Our room was excellent, larger for European standards, with excellent quality bedding. Best of all was the hotel staff! They are very friendly, helpful and very attentive to the guests needs. At the end of our stay, our taxi to the train station was running late, putting us at risk of missing our train to Paris. One of the hotel staff was getting ready to drive us in his personal car, just as the taxi finally arrived. This is a great example of how they go that extra step to ensure everything is fantastic during your stay!!

First time in Bordeaux, we booked a nice room here. Honestly, we're lucky enough that we're used to staying in top hotels, and this place blew us away. I'd go back to Bordeaux just to stay here again. The term ”boutique hotel” is so over-used these days, but Villas Foch is truly a boutique hotel. It's small, independently operated. In a nice quiet residential area. The service was off the charts. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to us. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous inside. I have no idea who the designer was, but huge kudos to them. The rooms are gorgeous, common areas are gorgeous. Breakfast was great. The bar here is great. Room was super comfy, bed was comfy, AC was great. The staff could not have been better. Like everyone went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Really, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Huge thank you to the staff here, we had a wonderful stay.

Firstly I don't normally submit reviews. I think everyone's experience is subjective based on where you've travelled before and what your expectations are. I also think it only fair to address issues with management before posting on a public forum. All of these concerns that I refer to below have been expressed to the management and the response to date has been indifferent at best. Overall this hotel is overdue a refurbishment but unfortunately the tired nature of the decor extends to the staff and management also. My problems were many. The room was not serviced properly on two days. Paint was flaking from the walls and the air-conditioning did not work properly, which meant the room was frequently cold. The room was also poorly lit, which created a very depressing ambience. Check in and check out were comical. When I checked out I was given no bill, no invoice or any receipt, neither was one emailed to me. When I got home I saw that I had been overbilled by €300 which management told me was normal practice but was being refunded to me. By the way it took three days of emailing management to be told this. This could have easily been avoided or cleared this up if I was given an bill/invoice or informed of this by reception, none of which happened. There were other issues. The downstairs common areas are small, rundown and completely misrepresented by the hotels website. The staff refused to hail me a cab and told me to go inside and order one. A small issue, but surely that's one of the benefits of staying in a five star hotel. Finally communication. I emailed them, using the address provided on their website, filled out a contact form on the website and finally completed a customer satisfaction survey. No of this aroused the attention of the Hotel Management. Finally I resorted to the only tried and trusted method, Twitter. I eventually got a response here, but it too was also slow and labored. The room was €500 per night. It was far from value for money. Would I go to Bordeaux again, most definitely yes. Would I stay in this hotel again, most definitely no. The problems in this hotel extend across the board, it will take some effort to fix them.

Good breakfast and location. But a lot of one-off things aren't there, and that's probably the case in Europe. The overall feeling is not bad, but one day, throwing my trousers directly to the ground for sanitation, I came back to see how angry I was. The shower head in the bath is not good, the old one, the angle cannot be adjusted, and the washing is uncomfortable. There is a taxi at the door, which is not bad.

We had a great stay in this hotel. It is beautifully small, very nicely appointed and in a great location. Its a very personal sort of place that is very welcome after staying in some larger places. The staff were truly wonderful, we met Camille, Florelle and the young man who often worked the night shift and they were so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble!! what great service. They gave great recommendations, helped us with bookings and were just very friendly the whole stay. Camille was always smiling when we walked through the door!! The front sitting area is lovely to have a wind down and to catch your breath with a wine from their selection before dinner. The restaurants in the street were great (Mimis and Mifan...both really good places to eat). Our room was small but the bed very comfortable, fridge well stocked and everything spotless. Loved Hotel de Tourny!!

The location is fantastic - it's right in the center of Bordeaux, very close to all the main points of interest in the city and also smack next to the tourist information office. this hotel is cheating customers. if you opt for a comfort double room, they show you pictures with two VERY SPACY rooms (you will unlikely get, they have only those two). then you push the reservation button and in the e-mail confirmation you will see a much smaller room (you will get; they have around 30 of those). make a SCREENSHOT before you order and stand your ground if you feel cheeted, the difference is around 15-20m2. it’s an ongoing scheme to pull you over the table! the hotel is rated 4* but it’s maybe worth 2*. the interior is really outdated. the pricing is too expensive for what you get. they offer on some booking platforms parking at a decent price (20€). but they don’t have. legally, you can’t hardly stop in front of the hotel. it’s up to you to find a P. those are very rare and very expensive. street parking costs 35€ for 4,25hrs (between 09h-19h). no joke !!! underground parking is 35€, if it’s not full. and look at the latest (fake / payed for ?) comments from US and canadian travellers. from beginning 2020 up to nov. 8th 2021 there were NO TRANSATLANTIC travellers (covid !!!). who produced those comments, all rated with a fantasy 10.0 ??? bottom line: AVOID! … to me: never ever !!!

I paid £38 for a night through a third party website. The room was small but comfortable. The tv was extremely small. The bathroom could use a renovation admit is slightly dated. However, the location of the hotel is perfect and the sound proofing was good enough. I would come again.
