Fairly good location bit of a walk to the beach but do able.
Needs a refurbishment outside really but clean inside.

The two ladies working on reception obviously didn’t want to be there, not very friendly at all. All other hotel staff were really nice. Breakfast was the most enjoyable part of our stay. We enjoyed using the lovely pool.
The Elstead is looking very tired and needs a massive input of money to get it back to how it used to be.

The property is too old and old bed cause back pain. Not a comfortable sleep.
Although there is no air conditioning in the room and too hot in this summer. We got a small table fan and its make sick in the morning.

Everything was fine. The hotel is close to the train station (2 minute amble) which has all the local bus stops outside. There's an Asda and Lidl on either side of the station and the main shopping ***** (with restaurants and nightspots) is a five minute walk down the hill.
The only suggestion for improvement is to add some salad to the hot breakfast area, as sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs every day can be a bit dull.
