Brooklands

Perfect stay, parking is free which is a bonus for the centre of town. be was comfy and the room was very clean with wifi and a tv. Parking is free which is a plus as most other local hotels charge. Staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Ignore the photographs on the website. They make Brooklands look like a modern bright airy place. These photos must be 10-15 years old. The rooms are in need of renovating. The room we stayed in stank of disinfectant that was purposely strong to mask the smell of damp. The ceiling was covered in damp patches. The grout in the bathroom was black. It seemed to have been cleaned but just needed re grouting. Running water on the windows due to condensation. Broken furniture that is stained. Hole in the wall. All in all I would avoid this place. Very disappointing. Especially when its surrounded by some very nice looking places.

Didn’t stay at this hotel as I was staying locally at another but wanted to warn others that several times I passed this hotel at night and saw several large rats outside. Plus on one occasion plenty of drug paraphernalia lying around near the door. Not safe to stay here! Wouldn’t let my children anywhere near it!

Pleasant room and friendly staff. Good clean linen. I would recommend this to anyone. Great location. The room was well kept. There was a decent bed and fittings. I would have liked a bit more fresh air in the room.

Clean room and bedding, new carpet, good size. Free easy parking. Perfect location for the beach. Booked here very last minute for a good price and was impressed. Great Thai restaurant round the corner

I’ve heard that you are welcome to book this hotel and stay as long as you like without actually having to pay a penny!… or at least that’s what the owners Paul and Hannah did to my company. They used our services, built up £thousands in invoices then refused to pay us. We took them to court, we won full judgement so the lovely Paul McKenna and Hannah Trickett placed the company into liquidation to avoid paying their debts. *****ped the business of all assets by giving the company assets to another of their businesses.

The room was clean and comfortable and good value for money. I specifically required car parking which was available although it was tandem parking which concerned me a little as I was wound was concerned I might be trapped in. Also as the hotel was not staffed for most of the day this was a little concerning if any issues arose.

Beautiful clean hotel staff are friendly and go above and beyond. Lots of little touches that make you stay top notch. Would definitely go back there. If you need anything the staff go out of way to help well done guys

Good value for money. Bathroom clean good shower. Comfy bed. Rooms needed a spruce up. Wallpaper could do with being replaced. But hotel in excellent location for BIC and close to town centre. Up a step hill.
