It’s ok. It is what we were looking for. Staff is super nice, the rooms have what they need. Nothing fancy.

This is the absolutely most appalling hotel to stay in. The 'bathroom' in the room is merely a converted cupboard, with a broken shower that was not adequate to wash in, mould all around it and soaked the whole carpet floor - as the door had to be left open since the extractor fan was broken and the heat from the shower set all the smoke alarms!! The bed is not adequate for an adult to sleep in and I was digusted to find female products left in the bed - which leads me to think the bedsheets hadn't even been changed in between guests!!! The 'tea' making facilities in the room are laughable and the maid didn't even bother to restock it on the last 2 days of my stay, so not even a hot drink in the morning after another shocking nights sleep. A plug socket was broken, the TV was hanging off the wall on one hook and the curtains are the most flimsy, cheapest things, so don't do anything to block the light. The maid likes to open & slam the other bedroom doors from around 5am most days - along with the staff of the pub having very loud conversations in the garden first thing in the morning. This a mid range price hotel when I booked it, but in all honesty the hotel should PAY YOU to even consider staying there - avoid at all costs!!

Room was nice, bathroom was.... Different.. But perfectly OK, unfortunately there was no breakfast, but what makes this place great is the staff. Absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful, funny and entertaining, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great atmosphere, Food was nice too. Good parking.

Very close to the worst hotel we've stayed in over the past 15 odd years. The rooms are tiny, the electrics are dangerous, the service is non existent, as well as being a very very busy pub at the weekend, with a DJ blasting out music until the early hours, there are constant fights, on the carpark on a weekend. And you would have to be physically fit and a candidate for a mountain climber to negotiate the numerous staircases. We would not under any circumstances recommend this place to anyone. It has obviously had a lot of money spent on the gardens, and the outside "party" area ....... But apart from that, it's somewhere to avoid at all costs.

DO NOT trust this hotel (well, it definitely isn't a hotel)!! We use B&Bs, hotels/motels all over the country for work and this is without doubt the worst place we have had the misfortune to stay at for a long time. We didn't expect much but we do expect places to be clean, and this is not! Lets just say, you don't want to take your shoes off, or you clothes for that matter! This room was booked for 3 nights but i moved out after the first night and paid for a Travelodge. What you should really be aware of is the following: The Admiral Cunningham charged for the 3 nights on check IN - this was via *******, so i didn't know this until i saw the money go out of the bank! so i now have no invoice to claim expenses. I informed ******* i had moved out of the hotel after one night but they have not helped to resolve the situation, they send a few emails but never read what i have said, and seem to answer a question that hasn't been asked? 🤷‍♂️ So, in short - Do not stay at the Admiral Cunningham, its horrible. And, beware of ******* - if things don't go well they won't help, but they will give your payment details to anyone and relinquish any responsibility!! 🤬

Bad service, the reception and manager is not helpful. Not flexible to change booking date. And their attitudes are poor. They are just like robots. Don't say it is a hotel, it's less than a hostel. Don't know why they asked us to send an email to request refund of a cancelled booking, but they rejected us. Wasting our time!!!

The pub these rooms are situated above is beautiful. Really lovely. However the rooms themselves are very very tired. Cracks in walls. Stains and rips on carpets. Chunks of wall paint missing. No hairdryer. And every single spring in both mattresses had broken making it a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Windows broken and couldnt be opened. No decor at all. Very very basic and uncomfortable. The positives were shower worked well and good bathroom light. No full length mirror which made getting ready tricky. Obviously very noisy at night but we fully expected this given it’s a pub and make no complaint about that.

Hi I found the bed very uncomfortable (springs were close to the surface) this is the bed furthest away from the window.the toilet cistern doesn’t flush properly and is embarrassing to leave. It needs a new valve as water is not filling quickly enough.
