The room was nice and quite spacious. The air conditioning worked well, and the temperature was just right. However, I was concerned about the cleanliness of the teacups and they didn't have disposable cups available. It's inconvenient that the laundry room charges for washing; at least drying should be free. Having to hang wet clothes in the room isn't ideal and could damage the carpet.

I really want to give an objective review of the Chongwenmen Hotel. Let's start with the positives: the location is absolutely superb. You just turn left downstairs and there's a subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. It's only one stop from Beijing Railway Station, and not too far to walk either. The building itself is impressive, a well-established star-rated hotel that's quite standard but in a good way. The service is also decent, and the cleanliness is excellent and well-maintained, leading to a very good stay experience.

Now for the negatives: This is the first time I've seen a hotel lobby with no sofas for resting, not even a single chair, stool, or folding seat. During waits, you're forced to stand, which is very tiring. The staff have that somewhat rigid, state-owned hotel demeanor; they're quite expressionless, and their responses are by-the-book, without much consideration for the guest. Perhaps all hotels in Beijing are like this, or maybe they're just Beijingers.

This hotel is really great! The bedding is clean and soft, and the room was spotlessly cleaned, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. The hotel overall is quiet and elegant, and its location on the Second Ring Road makes transportation very convenient for getting anywhere. The small garden and the trendy cafe are definitely worth checking out. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making me feel comfortable from check-in to check-out. Check-in was fast, and they patiently answered all my questions. This will definitely be my first choice for my next trip to Beijing!

The hotel's location is a huge plus, making it super convenient for walking around and sightseeing with seniors and children. The room hygiene was top-notch; the entire space was clean with no strange odors, very spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. All facilities like the air conditioning, bathroom, and charging ports were complete and in perfect working order. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; even though it faced the street, we couldn't hear any noise, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, allowing our family to rest peacefully. There wasn't a single frustrating moment during our stay; the service, environment, and facilities were all excellent. An absolutely fantastic overall experience, highly recommended for family travel!

Extremely satisfied! I arrived at 7:30 AM, planning just to drop off my luggage, but the front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful and checked me in right away, even upgrading my room. The room was spacious and bright, and the furniture was very practical. The surrounding area is a lively neighborhood, making it easy to buy things and grab breakfast. There's a fantastic bakery (Moscow Bakery) right at the corner when you step out. Transportation is also very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

I came to climb the mountain on the weekend and was too lazy to get up early to stay and rest. I wanted a room with a bathtub, but the ordinary king-size bed room didn't have it, so I discussed upgrading the room. I especially want to praise the two front desk staff, two gentlemen, who were very enthusiastic and took me to visit two king-size bed suites in a row. Finally, I upgraded the room type by paying the difference at the front desk.
Each room in the king-size bed suite has a small narrow balcony, and birds often land on it, which is very comfortable. It rained heavily that day, and the beautiful scenery outside the window could not be taken in the room.

Two people in the courtyard boil tea around the stove: The outdoor environment is very good, and there are geese, mallards and mandarin ducks to feed.

First time in Beijing, during the Spring Festival, it was too difficult to book, I booked 10 days in advance. It took a long time to choose when booking. The hotel is close to the subway, has windows, twin rooms, large area, very good, equipped with air purifiers, refrigerators, everything, and the service is also very enthusiastic. The decoration is a bit old-fashioned, and the towels and bathrobes are hard, but overall it's not bad. The surrounding shops are closed during the Spring Festival, and it's hard to find a place to eat, but there is a small supermarket that can solve the problem.

The room is spacious and bright, with reasonable partitions.
The facilities are complete, smart and easy to use.
The night market across the street has all kinds of delicious food, which is dazzling.
The service at the front desk is particularly warm and thoughtful. Because I went to Qinhuangdao to run a marathon, I needed to have early breakfast in the morning. I didn't have time to check out at 12 noon, so I specifically asked for early breakfast and late check-out. After receiving my needs, the front desk actively solved my request, called to reply, and informed me of the solution after arriving at the store. When I left the store, because of the marathon, the hotel was still under traffic control. Knowing that I was in a hurry to catch the train, the front desk waiter rode an electric bike to take me to a location where I could take a taxi, so that I arrived at the station in time. It was so heartwarming ❤️❤️❤️
I will consider staying next time if I go to Qinhuangdao!

The hotel environment is comfortable, the family room is cute and clean. The room has a cinema screen and includes iQiyi membership. My dad watched the Premier League live broadcast on the night we checked in.
The hotel service is good and check-in is quick. Since there were three of us adults, we called customer service to ask for an extra bath towel, which was delivered quickly. The Internet suddenly went offline while watching football in the evening. The hotel staff immediately helped us change rooms and even gave us snacks to apologize.
There is a coffee shop and a Chaoshan beef hot pot restaurant downstairs, so you don’t have to go far for dinner. It's easy to take a taxi and go to the high-speed rail station or Yuhou Street.
However, the breakfast arrangement needs to be improved. The restaurant is relatively small. There was a tour group on the first morning. I guess they left at 8 o'clock, so they occupied the entire restaurant at 7 o'clock. We had a hard time finding a seat (the table in the lobby was not open), and Food and drinks were not added in time, making it difficult to eat. When my mother was waiting for noodles, she was stood in line by someone. The person even yelled at her, saying she didn't stand in line because she was getting eggs. The quality of these elderly tour groups is very poor. The next day we went downstairs for breakfast after 8 o'clock to avoid this group of people and enjoy breakfast slowly. It is recommended that if the hotel receives a tour group, it first reminds the guests to have breakfast at a staggered time with the tour group or to provide additional seats.
