Hotel Brienzerburli

The hotel is located between Brienz and Brienz West Station, closer to the station (about a 5-minute walk, though you'll pass a cemetery along the way). The hotel is right next to a lake, offering beautiful views; a morning or evening stroll along the lake is very pleasant. Breakfast is simple but sufficient; vegetables would have been a bonus. Our room had limited power outlets, and the ones we brought from China didn't work; you can borrow one from the front desk.

At night, the church next door would ring the bell every half an hour. It was impossible to fall asleep. The church continued to ring in the early morning until the morning. The environment was beautiful. But it was not the scenery by the lake. This church is in the picture.

The view outside the window is delightful.

Facilities: The room is a log cabin design; there is no kettle. Cleanliness: Perhaps due to its proximity to the mountain and lakeside restaurants, there were still many flies. Small flying insects were also present in the room. In the summer, it's necessary to keep the balcony door closed when it gets hot. Environment: 8-minute walk from Brienz West train station, 15-minute walk from Brienz station. Service: The front desk closes in the evening. They offer a free check-in/check-out train station shuttle service.

The hotel is reasonably priced and conveniently located on the roadside, a short walk from the lake. The young man at breakfast is very friendly and polite. He will ask you what you need.
