Hotel Tranzzit

This was the perfect location for what I needed; I arrived in the city by bus and was able to walk there after getting the metro from the bus station - it was 10 min walk to the train station which is the best way to get to the airport. It felt like a safe neighborhood, a few convenience stores and eating places in walking distance. As it was not on a main road there was no traffic noise. The room and en-suite was very spacious. I stayed for two nights , the bed was made up and towels replaced. As I had hung up the towels my I felt new towels was unnecessary and perhaps they change as some people who do not care about their environmental impact complain if they have to use a towel more than once. It is good that the bath mat is replaced as there is no shower curtain around the bath thus the mat does get wet. There is a fridge in the room. I would have liked to have a kettle to boil water but get used to the fact that it not always common on continental Europe. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay again. One thing to be aware of is that there is no life thus if you have difficulty with stairs, make a request for a lower room at the time of booking. The doors to the made up rooms were left open so I took photos (included) - all rooms looked well presented and comfortable.

I was not notified that I would be locked out after 8.30p.m.! I was lucky enough to rouse a resident/guest who came and let me in the front door. I saw a notice inside giving a phone number and he gave me the code for the key safe and my room. I was tired after a day's travelling! The next morning I asked the receptionist the best place to go for breakfast. He virtually grunted and pointed in a vague direction. That evening I was having difficulty booking an early taxi for my trip and he couldn't help as he is Indian and doesn't speak Romanian! After 30 years of solo travelling in many cheaper places I have never been so dismayed at the lack of help and respect! Room was huge, bed clean and comfortable, half the shower worked.

Excellent location on the way to the train We traveled a lot and were always greeted in the lobby with a smile A subtle smell of incense makes the experience quiet in a moment And most importantly, the people there are lovely We arrived to a simple room, and they brought us everything we needed, a really lovely and comfortable experience Recommended for those who like to walk a lot

All the bad reviews about this hotel are fake. Room is clean. Check in at 12pm if you have time. Bus and tram stop is 3 min walk. Train station is 10 min walk. Bus and tram to train station is available.

Check-in after hours is quite difficult. I called many times to have the code in advance, but they gave the wrong code.

The reception was very friendly, and the room was very spacious.

All we needed, can't complain.You have to be happy to walk. There was airco, but it struggled a bit with the severe heat

Stayed one night at this hotel as I was in transit to Zurich and then Toronto. Checked in about noon I disagreed I was given a Superior Deluxe Room with Double Bed. My room is single room is on the third floor; with a single bed, fridge, TV... What almost kills me is there is no lift nor elevator in this hotel. I had to dragged my bag to my room. Luckily the reception lady was nice to take the small bag for me, No overnight staff is there. I checked out at 3.30am to take my early fight. dropped my key at the reception.

I had a comfortable and pleasant stay at Hotel Tranzzit. The location is convenient, especially for travelers using the train or public transportation. The room was clean and adequately equipped, offering a quiet environment for rest. I particularly appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who were always ready to assist with any requests.
