Fourth visit to Cali Colombia Marriott in past year, been coming to the wonderful property since they opened about 10 years ago. The Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager (see photo) are always very engaged with the guests to make sure everyone receives the highest quality meals with great personal and friendly service. Cali Marriott is a great venue for business lunches or corporate meetings, we've held many family events here. The property is clean, safe and secure, with staff always around to assist with any need. Front desk team is one of the best, quick and friendly check-in, and responsive to any requests during your stay. Housekeeping always does a wonderful job and services the room based on our schedule, and always says hello with a smile when they see us in the hallways. The Executive Lounge is one of our favorites, drinks, wide selection of food including soups, meat/seafood/chicken and dessert, and always fresh sushi. Very convenient hotel location, and the hotel's professional drivers are available at the entrance to transport you in their modern air conditioned comfortable vehicles, we use them frequently. When you show up you're pleasantly greeted by a security door you have to be buzzed in to enter. At this point you're probably realizing you made a mistake. It gets better when the attendant is rude and seems like she's very unhappy to see you or any ”guest”. Hotel has ridiculous policies like leaving the key at the front desk when you leave for ”security” purposes. Terrible. If you like hearing ambulances and police cars pass frequently this is the place for you. Barely luke warm water in the shower. On the bright side the shower and bathroom look nice. The room is a good size (I had the Junior Suite) and some of it looks nice. AC works well. The bed is two single beds put together -real classy. Built in ”desk” seemed like it would break if I leaned on it at all. Desk chair is absolutely un-sittable, as is the rock couch in the living room. Nice that there is a mini kitchen, but no plates, silverware, pans, etc provided. They give you two whole glasses. Really would avoid this place.

I am writing this review from my room 510 right now. I checked in yesterday and planned to stay one night but so very pleased with the staff and the room that I decided to extend my stay for a few more days. The only negative is that the hotel needs some loving care, all the important things that need to work in a hotel are operational but just needs attention to small things here and there, like repairing the 2 ceiling fans above the exercise eqipment. Yep that's the bad but this is completely overshadowed by the great staff, the rooms are very very clean dare to say spotless, hats off to the lady that cleaned my room 510 this afternoon, I left in a hurry and she got everything looking organized and again spotless. I spent 3 hours in the pool today and in the exercise room, although the equipment is dated and a few tiles are missing around the pool area everything is operational and the pool itself is well cared for, very clean water, great day to relax and enjoy. I liked the free parking in a completely secure area next to the hotel. The breakfast, which is included, is basic but fresh and tasty and good coffee. The only reason why I can't give 5 stars is that the hotel is dated. I give the staff with it's great friendly customer service 10 stars if I could. The wifi can be a little spotty at times but hey I am submitting this review from the hotels wifi so it works. I paid 82.000 pesos for my room, I am solo, this in my opinion is a great value. The staff are really cool and friendly. I travel all through Colombia and I stay in more hotels than I can remember but must admit what a nice group of people to interact with here. The rooms are huge! Yes I recommend and I will absolutely stay again on my next visit to Cali.

This is my second time in the Hotel Spirito by Spiwak. I had to come back again because of the perfection that this hotel has. And this time, I am already staying like two months. And I brought all my workers to rest in this hotel. It is amazing place for vacation, and at the same time, perfect place for business. It has good Wifi, atmosphere is fresh, interior design is very nice, room is very clean, fitness center is well prepared, swimming pool is well made with the food delivery service, breakfast has variety of foods with freshness, and the staffs are attentive and passionate. Especially the manager Mr. Gustavo is always willing to help in anything I need with full of his passion. He is not just passionate but professional in serving the visitor. Because of his kindness and profession and passion, I will definitely come back here. I would recommend this hotel to all of my people.

This hotel is located on a VERY busy street; luckily, they have a private garage. The rooms are super small for a party of two. So small that they improvised a closet with two pieces of wood in the corner of the room. The beds are SUPER uncomfortable. You literally feel like you are sleeping on the floor. Our first night, we contacted the front desk at 2 a.m. to complain about the beds and to request another room, and they confirmed that all beds are the same and that they have received plenty of complaints about the same thing. The buffet breakfast was a joke. Cold food, no flavor, and not enough variety—I will not recommend this hotel and will definitely not stay there again!
