This is a very, very good hotel. I loved it, I would book it again. However there are some limitations. I’ve been honest in this review because I always read the reviews before booking and I know how useful it can be when people give you all the information. The rooms are spectacular. Really big, with insanely generous balconies. We spent a lot of time on our balcony, there were sun loungers. And a dining table. The pull out airer was great for swim wear. I was really pleased I’d paid extra for the sea view because not only was that view mind blowing, but we got full sun, pretty much all day. And in February, that was very welcome. Plenty of concealed storage for clothes, a slick bathroom with THREE showers and a small kitchenette. Given that the hotel is pitched at families, we would rather have had two proper single beds in place of the sofa bed. But never mind, it was a very comfy sofa bed and it was so useful that the sliding doors created two separate bedrooms. That and the balcony meant we could sit and have a drink and a conversation in the evenings and early mornings without waking the kids. Complementary drinks and snacks had been left for us and thoughtful gifts like pillow spray and a box of dominos for the children. Small boxes of chocolates, spare toothbrushes, everything. The wifi was great. The tv has about five Spanish Language channels, so I appreciated being able to watch YouTube on our devices while lying in the giant bed. The air con / heating works well. The water pressure is epic. Maintenance in the rooms wasn’t the best. None of the usb sockets worked, which was a shame, especially as we had limited travel plug adaptors. The sliding glass toilet door wouldn’t shut and the shower screen leaked all over the bathroom floor. It felt like we were constantly mopping it with towels. The coffee maker was a bit rubbish and leaky; you don’t get a kettle, but you can get hot water from the coffee machine. Although there were tea bags on the hospitality tray, there were no cups provided except tiny little espresso thimbles, so you couldn’t have a cup of tea. We resorted to pinching a couple of larger cups from the restaurant, but the cleaners kept cleaning them away. Overall though, the room was great, so comfortable. Location: The location is unbeatable, right by the beach, an easy walk to the old town, close to lots of bars, restaurants, launderette, post office, supermarket. A short walk along the promenade to the Roman Ruins, the marina, the flocks of wild flamingos, the giant rock. Facilities: The four outdoor pools on the rooftop are exceptional. Two with kids activities, two for actual swimming. None of these pools were warm (it was winter) even the supposedly heated one was really chilly, but the sunny weather encouraged us in anyway. The infinity pool overlooks the street and the beach and is really special at sunset. Perhaps it’s because it was February, but the sun loungers were always left piled high

Our room was massive and we were upgraded to a suite on the 26th floor. Elegant, comfortable with a large balcony equipped with table and chairs and 2 loungers. Room class can be confusing. They have a double room, which is not 2 bedrooms but single width with balcony, Suitopia, a double room with optional kitchen and double balcony and Suitopia Sea View which I believe is the upper 5 or 6 floors. The building is not on the beach but about 150 metres away although with the height you don't notice it. View is amazing. This was a wonderful experience and the best hotel ever by design and decor. It was the off season so most facilities like the pool were closed. Everything is basic with many upgrades at a price. Nothing in the kitchen works, like fridge, kettle, stove, cutlery unless you pay 20 Euros a day. Coffee maker comes with 2 pods of coffee and 2 teabags but only expresso size cups so too small to place the teabag in. We had problems with the coffee maker chewing up the pods and placing the water in the garbage container instead of the coffee cup. There was a name changed and our GPS sent us to another hotel in the town by the same name.

We've just stayed self catering. The room was lovely and spacious and the balcony is to die for. We spend most of our time on the balcony. The only down side is there should be more information on how to use the lights, hob and oven. We choose self catering but I don't agree that they should lock away the kitchen utensils if you don't. The Sykbar is lovely and we enjoyed the cocktails. We also tried the buffet for evening meals and would recommend.

Can't fault the hotel ,facilities, decor, cleanliness, was lovely, we were very dissapointed with some staff s attitude, arrived & went to see the stunning views at the sky bar & have a drink , we were greeted with a red tape blocking us going in , the waiter came over & asked us very curtly if we had booked , we replied we just wanted a drink, he rudely told us to wait , then go find a seat .,we waited 20 minutes before walking out. We have never experienced such ignorant, rude behaviour ,that put us off going near the sky bar all holiday , The pool was stunning , but once again when we asked for a parasol we were told very abruptly that the guy was on reception who dealt with them . Dismissed, not a way to treat paying guests paying a premium for a bit of luxury, went to complain about his attitude to reception, who did apologise & sent someone up to get us a parasol, 2 hours later I!! Then my partner had to help carry them , so much for a relaxing luxury holiday, some of the staff are letting this hotel down badly . It needs addressing.asap. Not a pleasant experience 😕 unfortunately. BTW...room cleaners are lovely , freindly , & efficient

Cannot fault this hotel. It's by far the best hotel we've ever stayed in, and that's quite a few in over 40 years! Professional and friendly staff, impeccably clean, superb facilities and lots of extras (robes, slippers, foot cream, coffee, water...) Stunning sea views, fabulous Skybar, excellent central location within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and bars. Absolutely first class.

Overall disappointing. Everything closed for the season (main pool, kids club, etc), but it was not clear until check in that this would be the case. Food was so-so; standard buffet - again, it was unclear before check in if it would be buffet or a la carte. They seem to decide right before and tell you when you get there. Tried to go to the gym - was told that my 5 year old (who watches her iPad quietly in a corner while I work out) was not allowed in the gym - a policy that is VERY unkind to mothers. Room was nice. Gym and pool both looked nice, if I had been able to use them.

Here now and it’s a really nice hotel spotlessly clean and lovely staff. I’m a fussy eater so not eaten much but my friend gives the food 8/10. Down sides if you have young family and go up to the room early no English Channels. Also don’t waste your money on pool inflatables they are forbidden. We are on the 26th floor and I’d return just for the views alone. I would return to this hotel.

We stayed in Suitopia Suites in July. It was a family holiday which included three children - A 10 year old and, two 7 year olds. We always try and read trip advisor reviews about hotels before we book them mainly to get a flavour of what we might expect from our trip. We always try and look beyond people's petty complaints of places when they write reviews on them. We often mock the reviews for how petty some of the complaints are ...things like the plates aren't big enough in the restaurant or the staff were rude when we asked for a late check out, that type of thing, yet I fear this is about to become one of those such reviews. You be the judge, read on. I guess it's all about what you find important to you whilst you are on holiday. Firstly Suitopia is an impressive high rise hotel in Calpe, it's location is very convenient and it is close to the lovely beach, bars and restaurants. The rooms are lovely. They are spacious and clean and were cleaned every day. The beds in the rooms are huge and very comfortable. All rooms come with a large balcony with two sun beds and a table and chairs, if you are lucky enough to get a high floor room you will get a stunning view of the sea! We were on the fourth floor and didn't get a great view. The double rainforest showers in the bathrooms are superb. Complimentary bottles of water and espresso coffee refreshed everyday. Two flat TV screens in the room but no UK channels I'm afraid, but this wasn't important to us. We were half board so had breakfast and dinner each day. The "market buffet" (food hall) was a bit of a bun fight each day with busy times extremely hectic with lots of screaming kids. The food was excellent though, the choice was plentiful each day with lots of variety and great tasting food, we were not disappointed with the food at all. Apart from Andrei the pool boy, all other staff were friendly and helpful. Here is the bit we found quite frustrating about Suitopia and some may think I am being petty in my review but what I am about to write about is something which spoilt an otherwise very enjoyable holiday. The swimming pool area is the focal point of the hotel no doubt about it - a large area, loads of sunbeds with a big swimming pool, a small pool with a jumping jelly bean in it and another small pool with some slides for the wee ones, an impressive space, the kids loved it, if you came as a family with kids it's the place where you would naturally spend the most of your holiday. However we found that there was a major problem with this area, the problem was the lack of parasols and shade.... there just simply wasn't enough! We counted 10 parasols at most each day to cover approx 80 to 100 loungers. Due to this ratio it was a total gamble each day as to whether or not you would get a parasol due to the lack of them! If you did not get one and asked for one from Andrei he would say he had no more, he just told us to put more suncream on!. To add to this the pool area
