Hotel E Santa Maria

Terrible trea**ent from the staff, especially the one at the door of the hotel in the first place, they don't let the Cubans in, total lack of respect. A if they are P of them if they do let them pass. There is a Mr. ***** who is at the door who has a terrible behavior who treats me very badly, in short, I have never set foot in that place since nothing has quality, the little that there is is of no use, I do not recommend this place, much less if You are Cuban since you will be treated badly by the ignorant people who work there. To be more exact, this happened on 03-10-24. A trea**ent worthy of demand from the man who was at the door, a tall, wide-faced ***** with a bad appearance, after noon. Shame

I spent one night here as part of a tour. Parking in front of the hotel is very inconvenient. The route of luggage is also made difficult in the hotel by a very small elevator. The rooms are clean, but are showing their age. There is a small and a large atrium, both of which are very nice. Unfortunately, the meal was eaten in a restaurant on the roof of the hotel. The way there leads over roof installations and takes some getting used to. The view from the roof is unspectacular. The service in the hotel could be better. My basic equipment for Cuba as a tip: 1. Light sleeping bag 2. Small down pillow 3. Toilet paper 4. Soap and shower gel 5. Disinfectant 6. Bug spray (bed bugs) 7. Water filter (e.g. from Bachgold) 8. Spices (salt, pepper, chili etc.) 9. Good travel first aid kit (the pharmacies in Cuba are currently empty) 10. Flashlight 11. Power bank 12. Get a Cuban SIM card at the airport for WiFi

I really like the hotel. Completely renovated, very clean, excellent service. Very friendly and very professional workers, good show, good food. In short, a recommended hotel to spend with family. Highlight the reception and public relations work for their good trea**ent.

The last reviews were a long time ago. Our experiences weren't particularly good: a single lift, not very trustworthy. Some things in the room didn't work and there were no sockets. The whole interior definitely needs a renovation! Breakfast is offered from 7 a.m. When we arrived the coffee and fruits were ready, nothing else! Twenty minutes later, each guest received a plate already filled with lots of things they didn't want. Strange system! This hotel was the worst on the whole trip!

A beautiful accommodation, very well cared for and with an exceptional location in the City of Camagüey. The terrace restaurant is very good. Super attentive staff. The lobby bar has a pleasant offering and is great sitting in the interior patio, you feel like you have been transported to another era.

I loved the service and the decor. The servers are very attentive and classy. I went every day to have my American-style cappuccino. The bathrooms were very clean and the decor and service at the restaurant on the top floor was excellent.
