(I have no idea what Austria has to do with Andorra!) This is a budget hotel. Its ok. We were here for a few days skiing and it was fine. We had no major problems. It was a good price, which whilst the world cup races were on, we weren't going to get better than. I would stay here again if the circumstances were the same. We were very late arriving (due to a cancelled flight), but when we telephoned, they told us that - no problem - its a 24 hour reception. That was great to hear, and when we did arrive at 01:30, it was nice to walk straight into an open reception and have no problems. The room was ok. No luxury but a clean and comfortable room. It was very warm, and had a great view right out across to the ski area. The room could be improved with a kettle to make a coffee, and a fridge. Those are little luxuries that wouldn't cost much. Breakfast was fine. Buffet with the usual choice. Not the widest choice ever but for a day's skiing it was quite ok. We ate there in the evening one night - for a cost of €22 per person it was an unlimited buffet. Pretty much the cheapest meal of the whole time. Quality was as good as you get in a buffet. The hotel does have some larger groups (like - school coaches) and the restaurant can get pretty busy all of a sudden. Get into breakfast early - they open 07:30 on the dot. The bar is ok - a shame though that they only open at 17:00. Before that - during the day - there's no catering at all. The bar-snacks are very generous sizes. There is no parking specific to the hotel. There is quite a lot of 'blue-line' parking outside on the road, which you have to pay for. Its not expensive (works out at €1.20 per hour, from 0900-1300 and then 1500-2000). You can pay online via a very incomprehensible website (in Catalan with no language choice) which doesn't remember details so you have to do it new every time. Get the hotel reception to show you want to do. That's nothing to do with the hotel of course - but if you come with a car then you'll have to do it every day. To me, not having any hotel parking is a bit poor. The location is a bit out of things. Its about 2 miles up the hill from Soldeu and 4 miles from El Tarter. These are where the ski areas and restaurants are. If you have a car its no problem, but you'd be a bit stuck otherwise. You can also drive to the Grau Roig ski area - probably the closest to the hotel, although for different reasons I always went to El Tarter. There's a supermarket just next to the hotel but not much else there, so if you have someone who doesn't ski and is stuck in the hotel during the day, then its a bit boring there. In our case - hopefully not representative - the cleaning staff ignored the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and just came in to make up the room. Otherwise I'd say the staff were fine - the various people on reception, the bartender, and the staff in the restaurant, were all friendly and helpful. So yes - noting the location, and the parking, I would sta
