Stayed twice with the hotel. I liked that everything I needed was within walking distance. Both rooms were spacious enough with kitchen and everything you might need during your stay. Despite some flaws the stay was good value. First room on the first floor was okay, clean and quiet BUT the door to the bathroom provides coverage from the eyes and NO coverage from the sounds or smells. Also no ventilation in there. We had windows open in the evening and smelled smoke from the outside. The second time around we got bigger room with beautiful view on the signal hill and neighbouring houses. The only drawback were the little tiny curly black hairs ON THE WALLS and the ceiling of the bathroom hahaha the helping stuff must had not seen it when cleaning. Mind you our hair isn’t black nor curly. Still it was a reasonably good stay.

Room was noisy but the Location was convenient and the room was clean.

With amenities like free WiFi, a TV, and a refrigerator, it felt like a home away from home. The best part was the combination of reasonable pricing and high-quality service. Overall, I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.

We booked the same room again on the 25th. Then we requested to check out at 1pm. We didn’t hear anything from no one. This morning at 10am there was knocking on our door. The lady said its time to check out. I said mo cause we requested to check out at 1pm. She went ahead and said there are extra fees and she will ask the front desk. 5min later knocked again on the door. Says no we cant stay and have to check out at 11am(note this was at 10:20am) when she told me, I went ahead and told her this is on them and we requested to leave later. She left, next minute, a man came back. All arrogant. Told me why didn’t I pack up my bags the previous night. Also said that if I dont leave cleaners will come. I said its okah they can come but I might still be busy packing up. He said if thats the case they can help me put my stuff outside. I told him I dont like the tone he is using and being aggressive. He said hr not aggressive but he definitely was and threatened me with security that will escort me out. He left and came back(note I was in my towel) he said he left me in my towel and I am still the same( note I took a shower, busy packing up stuff in the room as we came from abroad and had a lot of baggage) he said he is calling security. Then my husband came out of the room and told him why he using that tone with me and he been listening to him the whole time! This man immediately changed his whole tune when he saw my husband. So inappropriate! And disrespectful! Will definitely will not be staying here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Point Break Luxury Apartments, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations. This was my fourth visit, and it’s clear why I keep coming back. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and warm. Their hospitality truly makes you feel at home. The property itself is impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. One of the highlights is the convenient location. Being so close to the V&A Waterfront, just a short Uber drive away, makes exploring Cape Town a breeze. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this location is ideal. The views from the apartments are nothing short of sensational. Waking up to the sight of Table Mountain is an experience that never gets old and adds a unique charm to the stay. My thanks to the staff and management for yet another phenomenal stay – I look forward to my next visit!

Close to restaurants and entertainment spots. The staff is amazing.

One off the best place you can stay in

The location is good. Not too far from a Woolworths grocery store and a coffee shop. The coffee shop opens really early which is essential when loadshedding hits and you can't make coffee in the hotel. The coffee was inconsistently replenished so again, being near a Bootleggers coffee was necessary. The hotel doesn't have a generator so when there is load shedding, you will be affected. If you are going to arrive early, you won't be able to check in early as there was no one who could help us at the front desk until 3pm which is standard check in time. We ended up having lunch in the restaurant so we weren't too inconvenienced but if your flight is much earlier in the day, do be aware of this. Otherwise, not a bad stay and I would consider staying again.

Everything is excellent. Restaurant is very good. Food good portions, well priced. Service very good. Seems a popular spot with the locals as well. Apartments also, well serviced, well appointed. Very comfortable and desk staff are all fantastic and very helpful. Full marks from me

Staff are helpful! The equipments and facilities in the room are fully manned, there are an array of kitchenwares and heater. What surprised me is the Hong Kong plug! The view of the hotel is also so good.

It was very pretty and a clean place. They only gave us towels on the last night even though we asked. There wasn’t any complimentary water. First time I stayed in any place that didn’t have water.

The apartments were stunning. Only problem I had was that it reaked of smoke and I specifically requested a non smoking room. Reception was not too accommodating with the smell.

I stayed at the hotel for the second time. If on my first visit (a year ago) there were no complaints about the hotel, then this time the situation has changed a lot. 1. During my stay, the water was turned off three times. The first time they warned that there would be no water from 7:30 5 o'clock due to repair work. After these repairs, there were problems with the pressure and the water in the toilet was turned off for 2 more days in a row. 2. There is currently construction under the window and it is very noisy in the mornings. 3. One day, when I returned to the room in the evening, I did not find my things in their places. Everything, literally everything, was moved from one place to another. A couple of examples: the cream from the nightstand was put into a cosmetic bag in the bathroom, things lying on the sofa were taken to the bedroom, put in a suitcase and closed it, underwear, socks were removed from one shelf to another, etc. In my opinion, this is very strange. 4. And the cherry on the cake of our stay - cockroaches. No comment. I will not return.
