Horrible attention to such a nice place, some workers are rude and the others are so annoyed by your presence you feel like a burden for just existing. My server at the pool was ignoring me straight to my face, i went to her 2 times and she still didn’t came to my bed, when she came and took the drink order she took another 30 min to get them to me and then she never came back to check again. I left and I almost had the option to not pay the check at all but it still did it and with the gratuity included which she really doesn’t deserve at all, At the end when I was leaving I paid everything and then she came running because she noticed I left and came running with the check. Oh so you do notice me right? You just don’t care about hospitality and a good service, you just came running because you thought I didn’t pay. Literally save yourself the noisy day and bad service and go to any other place.

Probably worst hotel I ever stayed at Pros: cold AC, mini fridge in room Cons: dirty sheets, dirty towels, dirty shower, limited breakfast with flies, birds, and bees surrounding food and drink, multiple dogs in dining area, dirty pool, dirty lounge chairs in pool area, vendors harassing when sitting beach side, no assistance with luggage upon arrival l, insects/ants/roaches in hotel room

One of the things I liked about staying at Palmarito was that they include round transportation and you don’t have to pay the Port fee since the boat doesn’t leave from la Bodeguita. The property as a whole is very nice and looks safe. However, it’s a private beach but you still have outside vendors harassing you to buy stuff just like public beaches. Lunch wasn’t great! It is a “buffet” but you can only go one time and they will do it for you! Lunch is like $40,000 cop per person. Breakfast was really good. Room and bathroom was super spacious and very clean. You have all you need. If you are staying, beach won’t be empty probably until 4pm and they close it at 6pm. Pool area wasn’t very clean. At night, was very quite and not beach vibes. Not sure if they have parties only Saturdays or certain days but during the night , you have nothing to do.

We were a group of five. We purchased a day pass (pasadía), service on the phone was good. Service at the place ok. We arrived at 8:30 am. There was a loud motor pumping water into the pool and reservoir tanks for 3 hours, not exactly a place to relax. I talked to several workers and some said: does the noise bother you? Some said they will b done in 15 minutes. Lunch was on time. Dry chicken, dry pork and extremely dry fish. Because of the engine we moved to the pool area. Then the Zumba class was on speakers for everybody to listen. Definitely not a quiet place. My mother in law (85 y/o) had a very hard time getting in and out of the boat, and she wasn’t the only one. They don’t have a ramp for older people. Fui con mi familia política. El servicio es bueno al telf. Salimos a tiempo.

ATTENTION: Hotel rooms do not correspond in any way to the photos shown on booking or trip advisor. Instead of the pretty room with dried palm leaf roof shown in the pictures, we were to spend the night in a concrete block with neon lights. The shower is the purest disaster, there is not even hot water, the room is dilapidated and the hygiene is poor. To our horror, a loudspeaker was installed directly in front of the hotel room, from which loud music was blaring. For us it was clear that we will certainly not spend the night in this hotel room. But I do not want to write too much now, PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS.

The experience in this hotel was excellent since the day we got here until we left. The wait and ride for the speedy boat to get to the island (Hotel) was quick. The check in was quick and we get to enjoy right a way. It has its own private beach space with a lot of accomodations (Bed, seats, beach lounges chairs and umbrellas). This place has different types of activities (dancing, kayak, and others offer by the inlands for an extra charge like jet skis). Food and drinks are good, freat, delicious. The Breakfast was yummy. In short me and my girlfriend had a great weekend here, 100% recommended and would love to come back. Ah, one more thing they have day passes.

Be careful if you rent the jet skis. Had one of the locals in the water and he said my girlfriend almost hit him with the jet ski. He was just lying to try and extort money. Staff didn’t really care that he was carrying on and making a scene. We just ended up leaving. Beside that. Food was horrible and cold. Bathrooms are a complete disaster and probably only get cleaned once a week. Definitely would not return.

Beach was ok, nice but not amazing. The buffet lunch was a disaster. Not enough tables, trays, cutlery or food. Food was over cooked and dry. I can’t remember ever leaving a ‘buffet’ lunch hungry. Staff was indifferent at best. After the horrible lunch, I went to cancel the massage that I had booked but was ignored by four staff at the counter without any other guests around. I ended up walking away without cancelling. I would say this place is very overrated. We should have ****** up the longer boat ride for a better place.

Fish for dinner? Delicious! Eggs and rolls for breakfast? Running and stale! Cocktails? Excellent!
