Remisens Hotel Albatros-All Inclusive

Me, my wife & son spent a very relaxing 7 days at the hotel Albatross.Big hotel & my 10 year old son said it was the best holiday because the entertainment team was so good - Roman, Lorena, Alexandra & Lisa made the holiday, exceptional would be an understatement. All inclusive food & drink was decent however wasn’t as varied as we’ve experienced on other holidays but that didn’t detract from the experience given it was so peaceful. Amazing sea & mountain views meant we could have stayed for much longer. Will be looking to stay again in future. As it was start of season evening entertainment was 3 nights out of 6 during our stay but I imagine in summer time it’s much better. Also Zoran in pool bar was a very polite & attentive man who kept the drinks during the day. Thank you!

Large hotel in the modernist style that you tend to find in eastern Europe. That said, there was nothing wrong whatsoever with the place. Friendly staff, plenty of space and loungers, food good, decent value and in a lovely setting. Loved every minute.

Friendly staff - at times a little too friendly, I didn't really want to shake hands with the receptionist on check-in, I just want people to be polite and professional. Adequate food, although some fresh juice at breakfast would have been nice. With a little attention to detail, this place could really be excellent - fix the broken tiles, dust the cobwebs in the corners and make sure that the piped music is turned OFF at night. Cut down on the entertainments too, they don't add any class. That said, the room was comfortable and the view from the terrace was fantastic.

Fabulous holiday. Went halfboard. Regarding Food we were spoilt every night so much choice. Delicious! Beds really comfy and views to die for. No complaints at all. Spotless rooms. Definitely coming back.

My son and I enjoyed a week end August. We booked last minute and got a good deal. Hotel is large and most rooms I think have at least a partial sea view which was lovely watching the sunset from the balcony before dinner. Room was clean and well maintained, towels changed regularly. Pool towels are collected from a station near the beauty salon, a bit tucked away but just ask. We booked AI and had no complaints really about the food, just same as most other AI hotels in Europe. Plenty to choose from though may be not so much for vegetarians but I always found something. I quite enjoyed the fajita wrap base pizzas - not too filling. A children’s station provided the usual fish fingers/chicken nuggets and chips etc. The self serve soft drinks were a bit hit and miss, had some okay coke and some awful coke, same with the lemon, think it just depends on how concentrated they make it. AI wine was adequate too. Staff were approachable and friendly. The lad who did the aqua aerobics was great, even with little kids trying to copy him on the side, he took it well when they were getting under his feet while concentrating. The location of this hotel however was what made it for me, about 10 mins walk along the coast path to Cavtat which again is such a pretty, quaint village with bits going on. Lots of little jetties/steps to enter sea for a swim along the way too so if you wanted a quiet spot you could usually find one. We walked right round the peninsula to Cavtat as well as walking through the centre, that was pretty as was a bit forest like with trees and benches along the way if you wanted a rest. You can catch the ferry boat to Dubrovnik as well just outside the hotel on the beach front and that was lovely to pop in to Dubrovnik (again lovely town but very busy with lots of walking tours going on and that was without the cruise ships in port - personally I’m glad we stayed in Cavtat and just pop to and from Dubrovnik). I would definitely return to this hotel, purely for location alone as this was spot on. Our TUI rep was lovely too, just there if you needed advice or info.

Lovely location, nice hotel. Room good size with best beds ever slept on. Bedding first week changed 3 times but not changed at all second week. Thick dust in rooms , not cleaned. Fabulous shower. Food was of high standard with a extensive choice, including sprouts for breakfast if you are inclined. All inclusive drinks very poor, local gin tastes like pop. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, if a little lacking in English. Ferry to Dubrovnik was lovely, a bit expensive but you are taken direct to Dubrovnik port. Croatia is very expensive so be prepared. Cavtat town a short 15 minute walk from Albatross hotel, with several small shops and a very interesting shell museum well worth a visit. All told a great holiday, take mosquito repellent sand flies also bite.

We booked this hotel around a year in advance and arrived at the airport to be told there was a ‘technical issue’ with the hotel. We were downgraded from this hotel to their 3* sister hotel. We later found out they had received a large booking of 600 people and therefore were overbooked and chucked us out. We were allowed to check in 4 days later and once there the hotel staff seemed none the wiser about our situation. The hotel itself was OK, good location and had tennis courts and a gym. My partner enjoyed the food. However, I wouldn’t trust to book here again

I was relicated into this hotel and i got and suite room for refund and in the shover therr was glass and it got into my foot and in the couch there was shards of glass too and i had to go to the hospital at 22:10
