Beach Hotels in Cebu

The only word i can describe is that it is spectacular. The buffet breakfast was one of the best i have ever seen. So much variety. The room is clean and big. However, the carpet along the corridor kinda smells moist/ musty smell. Other than that, i really have nothing to pick on. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I had a fall and wanted somthing to help me clean my wound. The front desk sent up a nurse to make sure i am alright. There is always someone greeting you at every point of the hotel, so welcoming. Definitely will come back here again.

This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

The hotel is ideally located for your activities on Cebu, midway between Oslob and Moalboal. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, and the hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The food is very good and very good quality/price.

Such a beautiful resort !!! I didn’t get the most welcoming check in but Ralph checked in my friend and he got a room right away. We switched to Ralph and he handed everything to quickly and there was room available for us as well . He’s so competent, approach and very warm towards the guest . Aside the check in, the breakfast has lots of options , cocktails bars / happy hours Monday to Thursday great deal !! I loved Salt and sky bar on the rooftop, the sunset view amazing . Paddle board , kayaking and the 8 different pools that we tested . Want grill menu , amazing, and the waiter will bring your cocktail to the beach as well. Over the friendly staff made the trip so enjoyable and the other guest , mainly Korean so friendly and kind. I had the best Christmas on this resort and I can’t wait to return back with my husband.

The location is good, especially the atmosphere of the pool and cafeteria is outstanding. You can go directly from the courtyard room and enjoy the relaxing and beautiful scenery The staff is polite and friendly, and the small front desk is a little confused, but it responds gently However, it is a pity that the shower is quite bad, and the toilet is water pumping, and the amenities are zero, there is small water, and there is only body soap and shampoo. No toothbrush, no towels other than bath towels Cospa is good, the location is good, and I care about the unfortunate part

I loved how warm and their staff is. It's the perfect resort for a mix of rest, relaxation and adventure altogether. They have a game room. Perfect for barkadas or for siblings or colleagues who checks in at the resort. I was greeted with warms smiles when I arrived. Check-in process was smooth. Check-out process is a bit long though. The room I stayed in is their Tour room. It was clean. I loved my bed and pillows. Aircon, hot and cold shower, TV were working. I like that there are many outlets inside the room and that I could get refillable water at the lobby. My room has a terrace but the view of this particular room wasn't nice but it's okay. They have toiletries and towels. The only missing though is conditioner. Soap is too small over a day's use. Shower area doesn't have a cover so water splashes onto the outside tiles. During my return, I stayed in their villa room, there was no light outside the door so it was challenging to open at night. Villa room is nice too - it has bigger TV, a purifier and a small ref, which I didn't have in their Tour room. Bathroom needs provision for hanging towel near the shower area. No space to put our other toiletries. There was only a space for soap, so we had to put it on the tiles on the side. Regarding amenities, we like that the pool temperature is warm. However, the pool ladder is loose, which can be scary to use. I like that we can use their snorkeling equipment for free and the clear kayak boat is free too for 15 minutes. There's no beach front, as in sand on the beach for you to stay at. Just stairs directly to the water. Our comment regarding the restaurant, the spaghetti was soaky, wonton soup was bland and no fish options on the menu. But some of their food are okay. I hope instead of instant coffee, I can have the option to choose drip coffee or have more decent options in coffee (I was sad about it, as someone who's particular with her coffee). Hope they will have espresso-based coffee or at least brewed coffee available instead of just instant coffee. Internet connection is okay, it might not be quite fast enough for video meetings. I was advised DITO and Globe signal are good in the resort. But maybe it was only just inside my room. I haven't checked the internet speed outside. There's live band after/during dinner time. The group who sang on our stay on the 29th wasn't so good but the one weekend prior was great. During my return, they prepared a small welcome back surprise for me. I felt so special. I really appreciated it. You can also request for them to prepare a small surprise for couples (ie., anniversary). The staff remembers returning guest too! I was also surprised to receive a returning guest voucher (free 1 whole pizza and a pitcher of iced tea - can only be claimed within my stay). The sunset in Pescadores is beautiful too! The location of the hotel provides a good view of the beach. More so, the hotel room is very clean and the staff are very accommodating. There some restaurants within the hotel and the foods are very good. The downside for the location is that no convenience store nearby but the overall experience was fantastic. Will definitely book here again this month or Dec.

Well priced Hostel in the middle of everything. I stayed there long term and it was totally cool. You made a lot of people and the staff is completely accommodating. I found it the best value Moalboal.  I ate breakfast next-door and I found it a great value. There’s a lot of things there if you just wander off the beaten trail. rent a mask and snorkel and explore the fabulous reef.  I couldn’t upload pictures but if I could they would be the sunset and high tide during late morning.

It was a great place,a very accommodating hotel staff Catelyn assisted us in our check-in with a very breathtaking view from our room. We enjoyed our stay and experienced was superb. Worth the price😍

Its was an anniversary trip, and had been waiting for long time due to staff were checking the anniversary setup of the room, and ended it up give me the room, but there is nothing different from normal room. I called and asked whats the arrangement, they said to call me back but they still didnt do anything. It was ok to me, but not made me waiting so long by saying its arranged. Hair dryer is broken, coral are mostly dead but still a lot fish. Other than that, everything is great!
