The location of the hotel is very suitable for wandering around. It is close to the Summer Resort (between Lizhengmen and Dehuimen). It is a courtyard style, with two entrances from the front and back, plus side rooms on both sides and several small houses similar to yurts. In the courtyard, begonias and other flowers and trees are in full bloom, with gray tiles and red walls, and the design is exquisite. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard in front of the room. If the weather is nice, you can drink tea or order takeout. It is very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the in-house kitchen restaurant, which is clean. There are not many varieties of food but the taste is comfortable. The kitchen lady is very enthusiastic (the bean buns made with self-made bean paste and the self-ground soy milk are both very good). It's great to come here during off-peak times. If you drive, navigate to the underground parking lot of the Mountain Resort (maximum charge is RMB 50 per day). You can park your car in Area C. There is a staircase for pedestrians to go up and down, which is closest to the B&B (100 meters).

The hotel is very neat, clean and has friendly service. The rooms are large and comfortable. The waitress cleaned carefully and wrote small notes to be more gentle. Everything is memorable. I came to Chengde on November 1st and chose Tianbao Hotel. My family was very satisfied. First of all, the lobby is bright and the staff warmly received us. The first thing I pay attention to when staying in a hotel is hygiene. I was really satisfied when I entered the room. Not only did I feel reassured about the hygiene, but the facilities were also comprehensive. The scenery outside the window of the triple room we booked during the term was amazing. It was a pity that the other standard room could not enjoy such a beautiful scenery. The breakfast the next day seemed to be cold because it was located on the first floor near the lobby. But the variety is rich and the taste is good. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay this time! I will choose here again next time I come to Chengde.

Pros: - Helpful, responsive and friendly staff. - Delicious restaurant ! Love their food. - There are McD and BK nearby if you want to have fast food during the trip. Cons: - There was a gecko coming out from the tent in our parent child room. It went under the bed and we couldn't find it. The first night, I couldn't sleep because of afraid it would come to us. When we searched the gecko, we saw plastic and bottle under the bed. I guess they don't clean the room properly. Conclusion : Overall this hotel is good for us during our Chengde trip. We're happy.
