The Ormonde Guesthouse

Met a lovely friendly host on arrival, Bash very informative and very helpful. Had upgraded to a Deluxe suite which was lovely with ample room but could do with a little revamp. Tiny bathroom but could be extended by taking a chunk off the next door dressing room - just a small downfall. Plenty of room in the kitchen area but could just do with a drying up cloth, some bleach to clean the sink and perhaps just run some water through the espresso machine after each visitor. Had a lovely stay and would certainly visit again and very soon. Thank you!!

The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The room was clean and functional. One could make tea, coffee, or expresso in the room at no extra cost. The security in the guest house was excellent. The receptionist was quite welcoming and informative. He showed us to our rooms and demonstrated how the security worked. The guest house was very quiet.

Arrived early but room was ready. Two night stay . Manager Bash offered to help carry our bags to room . The room itself was bright , spacious, comfortable and spotless. The room only option suited us . Parking is on a first come basis we were accommodated. A short walk into Chester town centre. Plenty of eateries nearby. We like Frodsham Grill. Will definitely be using the Ormonde again . Thanks to Bash and all the staff for a great experience.

18th and 19th august, first time at the Ormonde in Chester, ended up here as travelodge was too expensive but what a find. First of all, the guy who greeted us was the friendliest guy ever, so welcoming, so polite, truly nice guy. The place is very nice, the rooms are very clean, good shower, great coffee machine, big tv, beds are so comfortable, memory foam toppers. Good size room, couldn’t ask for anymore really. Good location, I will definitely be back, would try here before travelodge or premier inn in future. Good find.

Amazing room we were in. Very helpful and friendly man called Saiied who greeted us couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. Absolutely spotless and super comfy bed. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended. Nothing too much trouble . Thank you very much

Great budget stay, literally at the doorstep to the train station, drop your bags and see this historic town centre. Room was renovated and window only overlooks interior. Good place to crash next to station and drop your bags off.

Staff were courteous and helpful and the room had everything I needed. Even though on a road, the room was quiet. I enjoyed the coffee pods. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. It is near the city centre and shops. It is a budget hotel, not a 5 star hotel but I think it is still great value for money, hence giving it 5 stars. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a one night stay and couldn't complain about anything. The staff were extremely friendly we had the deluxe double room with a full kitchen area. It was very clean and extremely comfortable and excellent value.

We stayed when settling our daughter in to uni accommodation Good location Clean rooms our van was too big to go in car park so he even reduced rate by £3 to go towards parking in car park nearby .really nice gesture that extra touch Would stay here agin if visiting daughter while over here .
