Hotels in the United States are similar, but it was too expensive during my visit. I don’t know why, so I had to find a relatively cost-effective hotel close to the company.

The hotel was nice, nothing fancy but conveniently located right in the city. Horrible customer service! The hotel doesn’t offer any discounts or parking packages when you book through *******. We ended up paying $50 per night for parking in a garage down the street. We were told “since you didn’t book straight through the hotel we don’t offer any discounts or packages” not sure why that makes a difference if they are getting paid for our stay regardless but we learned our lesson and will choose another hotel next time. Also I wouldn’t plan on eating the breakfast. if you don’t get down there early enough you wait in line for a good 30 mins just to have nothing left. They do not refill the fruits or side dishes… when they are gone, they are gone.

Great price for the food and comfort of the stay in the heart of downtown. Only push back is the parking (60/Day). I loved how personable the staff is and the 24 hour gym.

All electric outlets were not working, and I lost files due to lack of power. Recharging batteries was not possible. It was a short stay and no time to fix anything. Room was not "ready" for the incoming guest.
Otherwise, stay was perfect, and I will continue to visit Hyatt Place when in Chicago.

I was charged for three rooms instead of the two that I booked. The front desk failed to inform me of this and now I am fighting to get a refund for the third room I did not know about.
