Stayed one night here during out roadtrip to 12 apostles.
Arrived late but managed to self checked in. Easy and convenient. Room was super impressive for the price that we paid.
There are several eateries just minutes away from our motel, and about 3 ‘mins walk to the beach front.
Would definitely recommend!
Good location, very close to the center. The balcony can see the sea, and the guest bedroom is a little bit cooler at night. Others are very good, recommend staying.
I arrived at 9pm and was disappointed that the front counter closed at 8pm. However, the motel worked with me and left a key out for my room. The problem was that it is such a huge complex and there were no clear signs that I spent 15 minutes looking for my room. However, once I found where I needed to be, the room was lovely . I wanted to order breakfast but because I was late in I missed the opportunity to do this - can this be done online? I then had to go looking for some breakfast in the morning which I didn't want to do. I would stay at this motel in future as it was well presented and clean, as well as handy to the beach.

The hotel is not far from the center of Apollo town, just a few minutes drive away. Because it was Christmas Eve, many restaurants and shops in the town were closed, and the supermarkets were not closed. Free parking
The front desk of the hotel is on the first floor. It is a Chinese boy with a very good attitude. He gave us a map and showed us where to see the scenic spots. After checking the name, he gave the key to check in without deposit.
The balcony and bathroom are not small, and the bedroom is a bit small, with only one large bed, and can only accommodate 2 people. The room looks out to the sea, there are refrigerators, microwaves, hot water kettles, towels, bathing supplies, no kitchen can not cook, this is a bit inconvenient
Check out at 10 in the morning, put the key on the coffee table, and have free wifi
Apollo Bay is the town where our family stayed the longest on this self-driving Great Ocean Road trip. Our family of five, two adults and three children, stayed in this cabin for three nights in a row. In addition to the beautiful scenery nearby, the most important thing is that it provides bicycles, boats, fishing rods, golf clubs, etc., and you can go to nearby courses. , play at the beach, we have fun every day! The owner Amanda and a friend of hers are taking care of these cabins. They are very nice people and can provide a lot of help to guests. For those of us living in domestic cities, burning wood in the fireplace to keep warm is a very interesting experience!

I wish I had something to compare this to in the same area but it was our first time on the Great Ocean Road. Overall, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place during the ”off-season”. We were here in April which is early Fall. Basically this is a group of small buildings made into cottages a block from the beach. Each one is unique I think. They made arrangements for an early check-in by leaving the keys in an envelope in the door of the office. Thank you so much! We stayed in the front cottage (I forget the name now) but it had parking, a large main room with a bed, sitting area, and a large luxurious tub which I loved using. There's a fridge, and the AC doubles as a heater which we used because we were chilly. The bed also had a heated mattress pad to turn on and make you cozy. Across the street is a supermarket where you can but all your snacks, wine, and what-have-you. Would certainly stay here again, but did notice some cottages on the beach which might beckon us to try next time? One good thing about his location is you are very near all the restaurants and cafes.
I actually drove past the hostel thinking, 'that house looks amazing, great balconies'. I went round the roundabout at the end of the road and the house with the great balconies' turned out to be the YHA! Result! Apollo Bay was less touristy than Lorne, which made it better in my opinion. Really chilled and relaxed vibe. Guy on reception was great and welcoming. Hostel was spotless. Communal areas were the best I've seen around Aus. Defo recommend.
I booked this hotel based on the reviews I read on TA and Google. I made the right decision. The location is very good, short 5 minute walk to the beachfront, restaurants and grocery stores. I had a ground floor room, very clean, adequate furniture for 2 people with 2 chairs, work desk and outdoor table and chairs. It’s not 5 star, but you shouldn’t expect that with the price. Bed was comfortable, hot water aplenty but it does take a few minutes to come through the pipes. I extended the booking and the owner was happy to offer a discount. Would I stay again - YES
What a great find! The hotel is really very well located, with free parking available. Reception is very friendly and helpful with sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. The room is clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. The beds are comfortable. I find the management very thoughtful for eg. there's a beaker of water placed in the fridge to keep it cold and also empty glasses in the fridge to ensure that you really have cold water! Free wifi is also available! This is a good surprise considering that we had just come from a 4 and a half star resort which charges for wifi! The only complaint I have is that there is rubbish collection very early in the morning and the truck collecting the rubbish wakes us up at around 6.30 am. Otherwise the place is really quiet and yet walking distance to eateries.

Great Ocean Walk
老老丁01The scenery is very good, there are beautiful beaches everywhere, beautiful sea, and distinctive seaside rocks. Many people return to Melbourne when they arrive at the twelve disciples. In fact, it is the most beautiful to go forward.
Apollo Bay
DDr BPA quaint, sleepy little town about mid-way along the Great Ocean Road. Stunning beach with absolutely awesome sunrises. Gets very busy with tourists from Melbourne (and elsewhere) in Summer, but in the quieter months you'll practically have the place to yourself
Cape Patton Lookout Point
SssdiabloThis is a viewing point on the Great Ocean Road. You can see the beautiful coastline, and the momentum is quite magnificent. However, this viewing point is also relatively small, so you can just get off the car and check in. It doesn't take much time.
