The hotel is right next to the green park, very close to the beach, the hotel facilities are very new, it is very comfortable to live, and the hotel service is also very good.
Very satisfied because of the service. I have stayed in some hotels in Canada, including several five-star Fairmont, and by contrast, this service is really comfortable. This location is also very good, to the beach down the mountain, seven or eight minutes, to the castle mountain is five minutes, less than ten minutes from the public garden. Breakfast is weak and the variety is small. Next time you come to Hafa, you may consider choosing this one again.
Large room with a fully functional kitchen, I love it
The sofa bed was pulled away at night and became a large bed for two people to sleep. The bed is soft and comfortable that I like. I made my favorite meal in the room.

I was very satisfied with the double bed for the first time, but this time the single bed was shocked. The toilet is half as big as last time. The soundproofing is also poor, and it doesn't feel like the same hotel as before. Maybe the top floor hasn't been renovated yet. This time the room doesn't deserve 800 RMB at all
Amazing hotel in the perfect location to get around on foot. Great staff that was eager to please. Room (one bedroom suite) was beautiful. Breakfast was really good. Lots to choose from. Will be returning in the future.
The hotel is conveniently located in the Haffa business district, which is very convenient for dining and traveling. The facilities are first-class and the staff are also very enthusiastic. The breakfast is rich and the view is great!

Outstanding
EErnest KurishI recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area.
EEunice Gale DorongonCheckin was smooth, staff are nice and very accommodating, only thing is we were checked in a room where there are tick bugs. It was so horrifying, we checked in with our toddler as well. They were able to tranfer us to a different room, everyone was prompt to action this. But i dont think im gonna stay again at this hotel next time

GGuest UserLocated within very close proximity to the QE2 Hospital in Halifax. Parking... max height for onsite vehicle parking is 6 foot! Otherwise, you may have to park elsewhere. We had an early outpatient appointment at the hospital and came from away for it, the proximity was convenient. You are staying in a building close to the hospital in the commercial area of the city. ...you may hear sirens. There are many other close by amenities, and places for a nice walk. Also, a skating oval with rental skates nearby.
We will be back again should we need it. Bed was clean & comfy, great pillows. A ”large!” TV, lots of channels. A nice shower, food in the ”Cannery” restaurant on site was good. Service, even though it was holiday season was good. Overall, a very nice place to have a sleep!! The only negative was the parking, but then the 4x4 F350, is kind of ...BIG (and 7' 1” tall)! So, I can't hold that against them...!
Associated note; The hospital has a new parkade, with elevated pedway to the Halifax Infirmary on Summer Street, (7 foot clearance.) (Not on maps, street view, satellite or GPS yet!) ($14.50 for the day).

GGuest UserConveniently located close to the airport. They have a free shuttle that runs through the night. Excellent place to stay for middle-of-the-night or early morning flights.
GGuest UserNot bad, the hotel is right in the city center and parking is very convenient. It takes two minutes to walk to the commercial street on the seaside of the port. The hotel facilities are also very good, the service attitude is very satisfactory, and there are many restaurants nearby. It is very convenient if you are walking and shopping. All in all pretty good.

GGuest UserThe room size is moderate, two big beds can sleep four people. The bed is more comfortable. Hotel parking is free and tight. There are large supermarkets and fast food nearby in four minutes. Go to the city center for about 13-15 minutes. Breakfast is a simple American breakfast at 10 o'clock.
GGuest User🚗 Transportation: The most speechless, the hotel shuttle bus to the airport is free. But after the driver sent us to the airport, he said a lot of things that he didn't understand and asked us for ten dollars (there were three of us in the car). We gave it to him. Later, please ask the customer service to help the hotel to verify that the pick-up and drop-off car is really free. Collection of money is the driver's personal behavior. Remind everyone that the hotel-related services can be bound to the room, the cash receipt is very problematic, don't be almost fooled like me. Trip.com yyds
🧹 Hygiene: The room hygiene is not bad, that is, the toiletries of the Garden Inn in Hafa during the epidemic is still the big bottle stuck on the wall. The Garden Inn I stayed in Calgary, Ottawa is not.
🍃 Environment: I am really speechless, living on the first floor, a large light outside the window is shooting at the window of the room, and the curtains are still bright. There is no hair dryer in the room. I asked my friend about the room. I can find the front desk. The front desk also asked me repeatedly to confirm that there is no room 😅.
Facilities: The lobby is better than the holiday inn next door. The lobby of the holiday inn is very very fast and hotel wind. The hotel air conditioning is noisy and not cool.
Overall this garden inn is not as good as the other garden inn.
GGuest UserAlways a great and convenient place to stay before a flight out of the Halifax airport. As a bonus they have free vehicle parking for 2 weeks with 1 night stay
GGuest UserThey had us over a barrel. Apparently the whole place was booked. Crazy expensive for a place that was less good than a standard Holiday Inn or Ramada. The room had a ton of light leaking in from the hallway door. But our problem was the old pillow-top mattress. My back's not great, and it was sagging in the middle. Painfully soft. They didn't have a spare mattress. Not one. So if a person spilled water, a child had an accident, whatever, there is NO SPARE MATTRESS? Wifey asked if the (old) couch was also a sofa-bed. The staff wasn't quite sure(!!!). It was. We asked for more sheets and another comforter. They delivered more sheets. The old sofa was, well, old. The spring mattress in it has lumps, but it was better (firmer) than the bed. The location is prime, but they have competition. Next time we are in Halifax (it's a place we go), we won't stay at the Barrington. Kudos to the nice people in the restaurant. Good value for the food, friendly staff. Front desk... No good.
