This architecturally interesting apartment hotel is located in the middle of a business area. Due to the location, it is as good as nothing to find in the nearer surroundings. But whoever is on the road by car, can live here at a price and convenient price. My apartment was large and well equipped. A small kitchenette belonged to the room, as well as a glass balcony. The bed was comfortable, the WiFi quickly. The house includes a parking deck and a deep garage so there is no need for parking. Conclude: Great apartment at a cheap price

Achat Hotel Egelsbach is situated in an industrial area, so the surroundings aren’t super. Despite that it is a rather nice hotel, but definitely not 4-star. It is quiet and peaceful, the room was clean but the bathroom a little dated. - We have stayed in 3-star hotels that would compete with this hotel. No air-con and clean towels only on request. The main issues for us were: - the lighting. There were only two possibilities, either ALL lights were on or they were off. One of us prefer to read in bed, often rather late, but this was not possible because then the other half could not sleep as all lights had to be on. We have never experienced such a system before. And yes, we checked with the reception, but there was nothing to do about it. - the bathroom. You had to get into the bathtub to shower. Not very modern and definitely not for us, as we are older and getting into a bathtub is difficult and rather dangerous as you easily can slip. - the breakfast: There weren’t many guests but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get full service, especially considering the price of the breakfast. There were only very small plates, no proper plates. No brewed tea, just teabags and hot water. Two sorts of juice. There were just a few pieces of every item, for example (over an hour before the breakfast time was over), there was one slice of tomato left and this was in August (when there are huge amounts of affordable tomatoes around). And they didn’t fill up with anything. The staff spoke only German so asking for something was not an alternative for us. – I highly recommend for those in charge of the breakfast a visit to a 3-star hotel in Scandinavia belonging, for example, to the Scandic-chain in any small town. You might get ideas how to improve yours. We did not use the restaurant in the evenings so can’t comment on that. There are quite a few steps from the street, so if you have mobility issues, the place is not convenient for you. We will probably not return to Achat.

We booked here for the night near the FRA Airport. The room and bath were OK, clean. You can't complain with the price. But the situation at parking and the service at the reception were bad. We were informed that the reception is occupied until 20:00, see photo. And we planned that we should be about 19:00. On the arrival day at 18:00, the reception wrote to us that he had to go at 18:30 !!!!! We were there at 18:20 p.m. There was no parking place for us. The reception was not so voluntary to help. He just wanted to make fast check-in and leave. The hotel has only a small parking station for 6 cars, very narrow, see photos. We found a parking place on two streets further from the hotel. The hotel did not have our wish for a night before the departure!

This hotel provides an acceptable standard of accommodation and the service was generally satisfactory. There were some negative elements to our stay, however. On checking-in we were given information about the time of breakfast, which turned out to be incorrect. We arrived at 9am only to find that all hot food had been cleared away and all that was left was a small selection of cereals, cooked meat and cheeses. The following day, having established the correct time breakfast was served, we found a good selection of hot food in addition to the cold meats, cheeses etc. The other negative, which is of more concern, is that an unopened bottle of perfume (still in its plastic wrapping) in a duty free bag ‘disappeared’ from our room. Whether it was mistakenly cleared away when the room was cleaned or (hopefully not) it was ‘appropriated’ by someone I cannot say. We contacted the hotel who informed us that ‘nothing had been found’. I have travelled extensively over many years and this is the first time I have ever had anything disappear from a hotel room. I am not in the habit of leaving negative comments but I feel it is important to draw attention to my experience at this hotel.

This is a Holiday Inn Express. Only ten minutes drive from/to FRA Frankfurt am Main airport. IHG members receive free bottled water. The rooms aren’t very spacious so be aware of that. Rooms are equipped with a small table and two seats. The bathroom had plenty of towels as well as a liquid soap dispenser. In the shower, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel was provided. The air conditioning in my first room didn’t worked so I had to switch rooms. However, the A/C in the other room worked fine. This hotel includes breakfast with a nice assortment of breads, cheese, sausages and jams. Coffee, teas and juices are available in a self serve area. Very friendly and helpful staff members. I will stay here again when flying out of Frankfurt.

I stayed here for a couple of days while attending a course close by in Neu Isenburg. It is located in the middle of a business zone but very quiet. The room I was in was spacious and the bar/restaurant was modern. I’d definitely stay here again.
