the island is small but we we see variety of fish ,small shark, Manta Ray, we went snorkeling along the trench, fish groups there! despite the coral are dead, the ocean is beatiful, relatively clean and limpid; people there friendly, service good and efficient, breakfust also delivious and sorts covers a wide range of food; sedfood is seldom; others are very good, also the pizza very tasty. the island is suit for me since it is my first time come to maldives, when we come for annual leave within Christmas and New year days; the hotel arrange us at very calm place, I even saw the captain of an airplane in uniform one day night for 1day stay at my neighbor next door; I like Malahini very much! the lovely people , the seashore view, the sky when at night the twlinking stars so near when you look up. i will be back beatiful Maldives!

...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars. After a disappointing start to our holiday at another resort, we booked OBLU SELECT Lobigili for the remainder of our trip—and what a transformation it was! Our only regret is not booking OBLU from the start. This adults-only haven is pure perfection, surpassing a 5-star rating in every way and offering an unforgettable experience. We stayed in a water villa in December, and it was absolute bliss. Astrid, who looked after our villa, went above and beyond to ensure everything was impeccable. Her creative towel art and thoughtful attention—like refilling drinks and snacks twice daily—added a truly personal touch. Akere, our dedicated rep, was incredibly responsive and helpful, quickly becoming a genuine friend. We’ve even stayed in touch since returning home! The dining experience was another standout. The food was nothing short of Michelin star-level, with a vast variety and beautifully presented dishes. Every meal was a delight, elevated further by the warmth and hospitality of Lana, Jenny, and Elin at Ylang Ylang. We also indulged in two unforgettable dinners at Gaadiya 17—the lobster dinner and the traditional grill—where the flavours and quality were phenomenal. While talking about dining, it’s worth mentioning the underwater restaurant Only Blu, situated between the adults-only OBLU and its 4-star sister resort. The views of the coral reef were breathtaking, but we felt the food and service here could be improved to match the exceptional standards of OBLU Lobigili. At best, I’d rate it closer to 4 stars. The drinks and entertainment were equally fantastic. Maya at the Swing Bar was a true gem, keeping us entertained with her friendly chats for hours. The DJ set the perfect vibe, and the singer with an incredible voice deserves a special mention! We also had a wonderful massage in the spa, which made us feel even more like in heaven. A huge thank you also to the incredible team at the dive centre. They took us on a fantastic dolphin trip, which was a highlight of our stay. They also kindly lent us a scuba belt free of charge so we could practice freediving on our own. We were eager to book more trips, but unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side this time. The island itself is stunning, with impeccably maintained facilities. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, and it’s hard to believe the island is man-made. The dedication of the staff to creating an exceptional experience was evident in everything. Even with the less-than-ideal weather—frequent rain, strong winds, and cloudy days—the resort still stood out as the best we’ve ever stayed at. It’s a true testament to the magic of OBLU Lobigili that the weather didn’t diminish our experience. We couldn’t find a single fault with our stay. OBLU SELECT Lobigili has set a new standard for luxury, and we’re already planning our return. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a truly extraordinary escape!

A beautiful resort with good amenities for children and adults. The rooms are clean but during my 5 day stay the sheets were not changed sadly. The restaurant staff are selective about who they attend to but that is not an issue with me. The only issue I had was the restaurant not wanting to seat us because we did not have reservations on the day we arrived. There was only 2 tables occupied and after some insistence we got a table and an hour later after our meal the restaurant had the same number of guest so I don’t understand the initial refusal. Bring the bottled water bottle along with you because the restaurant charge you for table water. I love the transfer service prompt and welcoming.

His extensive experience and superb guidance made the dives not only educational but also incredibly enjoyable. His expertise and passion for diving truly enhanced our experience. Overall, the Sheraton Full Moon Maldives Resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and outstanding service. We highly recommend this resort for families looking for a memorable vacation in the Maldives.

This was a surprise trip for my husband's 50th birthday and we were travelling with my Son Esa aged 8. Once we got to our resort we were greeted and welcomed by Amine and the team. Amine was very welcoming and took us on a buggy around the resort to show us around and escort us to our room. Amine went out his way daily to stay in touch via WhatsApp and kept us updated about all the activities taking place daily. Our room was amazing and we had been upgraded to a beach pool villa:-). The bed was decorated and a welcome card/fruits were placed in our room. The boy's were so excited regarding the private pool. Our resort was amazing and had alot to offer. This resort in particular had a kids club hence why I chose this resort. Guest Relations were amazing and accommodating . Grace also from Guest Relations was very welcoming and came to see us. The restaurant /food was pretty good and had lots of choice. Esa being a child wanted his normal chips/burger or nuggets and was offered this separately which was great. All the restaurant staff was amazing especially Shafiq, Shauka and the team. They all went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy. Shafiq had his way of taking care of families and even bringing the yummy special desserts to our table. He would always accommodate us to the best table/view too. Shauka was the head operations manager for all the restaurants and I promise you he was always hands on and ready to serve you in whatever you wanted to eat. He would always go out his way for us especially for my son Esa. Even on the last morning we was leaving he made Esa his favourite waffles :-). Our last dinner was arranged privately by Mr Ejaz (Hotel manager) and Shauka so we can celebrate my husband's 50th. A beautiful table was set on the stilts restaurant with a cake and Shauka personally came to serve us with all the different foods we wanted to eat:-). Absolutely amazing he was. Esa really misses everyone especially Shauka. We had an amazing stay and experience at Villa Nautica. We have already said that we will surely be coming back again and recommending to our family/friends. Small comment regarding the ice cream served at meal times in the restaurant- it was not nice/very poor quality. It was like some powdered ice cream mixed.

Very nice hotel. Established in 2023, the 6 storied building is located at the Hulhumale Phase - 2, far away from the crowd of Male city. We are staying there from 19th September to 22nd September 2023. As a new hotel the rooms are very neat and clean. The rooms are spacious and full of amenities also. Specially the internet speed / Wifi speed is very high. The breakfast is complementary here. We went to the rooftop to enjoy the sunrise. The sun seems to be getting up from the sea. The staff are very cordial. Specially Mr. Riaz and Mr. Kiyas was there all the time in case of any need. Much recommended to visit.

We were booked on a liveaboard in the Maldives last year. There were a few hours between the flights and the ship trip, both on the outward and return journeys, which we had to bridge. In order not to spend hours at the airport in Male, we decided to take a hotel room. Our choice fell on the RIJ. This small hotel isn't directly at the airport (10 mins by taxi), but it's a lot cheaper, has cozy rooms and an unbeatable burger joint right next to it. We recovered well, were able to freshen up and had the opportunity to buy a few souvenirs on the day of departure. Gladly again!
