This was a great hotel! We had booked this property for a few nights before our cruise because of the price. We were wary that it seemed a long distance from restaurants and shopping. In the end, cost won out. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by the front desk agent. We had booked a one-bedroom suite, but she quickly upgraded us to a 2 bedroom instead. The room was spacious and very clean. There was a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. We later discovered the oven didn't work (that is one of the reasons for only 4 stars). We quickly went outside to the pool area. It was uncrowded and clean during our stay. There was no overpowering smell of chemicals or stinging eyes when we swam there. Breakfast was amazing! There was always a couple of meats to choose from. There were also hashbrowns, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, bagels/toast, and a variety of pastries. There was also yogurt and fruit for those wanting a lighter fare. There are some minor issues with this hotel. We couldn't get the pool side grill to work and had issues with the oven in our room, but when you look at the low number of Mariott points required for this property we were very pleased. We even discovered a nearby Subway and a great route into the Doral area where food and shopping abound. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Awesome hotel with big rooms and new facilities. The first floor of Building No. 6 we lived in was a mini golf course and inland lake. The view was superb. There are a variety of activities to participate in every day. The bar has free drinks and snacks. The pool is open until 11 pm, and the pool opposite Trump Hotel can be shared, but unfortunately we have not enjoyed the trip. It is a pity. The hotel is 15-20 minutes by car from the airport, there is nothing to visit around, there are two shopping centers about 3 minutes by car, there are supermarkets and restaurants, the hotel provides free shuttle, but you must contact the driver by phone.

To mention the least …outstanding service. Hopper messed up my reservation and I was disappointed how Hopper managed my reservation. Fortunately, I had Malcolm, the night front desk agent who allowed me to check in while my prepaid reservation was lost. The service that Mr. Hernandez provided was above and beyond. Hopper was not serious and did not resolved the issue on the next following day before checking out. (They promised to resolved the issue which it never happened that night). Thankfully, after Mr. Hernandez finished his shift, Mrs. Kiana took over and solved the issue. I want to really extend my gratitude towards Malcolm and Kiara because the warming welcoming and the professionalism was more than I was expecting. If you are traveling for business or pleasure, Aloft Doral should be your first option. I hope Marriott hotels continue such a great customer service training, showing great customer quality. Kudos to both of you. I felt like home all times and I never found anything irregular but Hopper service. Great service, great management.
not bad! The room is in typical American style! But it's like a family hotel. Personally, I still prefer to stay in hotels. But the hygiene is pretty good and quite clean.
This a nice, modern Marriott brand. Stay at a lot of Marriott hotels but this is the first AC. I like it!! Very clean and well appointed. The gym wasn't huge, but equipment was new. 15 minutes from the airport. The breakfast was fresh, tasted great and the service from Lily was outstanding! She is very kind and attentive. Highly recommend!
This was a nice, clean hotel with very good breakfast. Stayed here before leaving for our cruise from the Port of Miami. There were places around the hotel to eat and have fun before leaving on our cruise. Would stay here again!
Upon arrival I was impressed with the lobby and bar area. It seems very nice and well-maintained. Turn front desk person was very cold and miserable. I started speaking to him to check in and he literally walked away from me in the middle of me talking and came back two minutes later like it never happened. He is not someone who should be working in hospitality The room had bloody? Stains on the wall and curtain. After swimming in the pool we got out and went to the towel rack to find that it was empty. I went to the phone that is near the pool to try to call the front desk. The phone doesn’t even work. It’s an emergency phone by the pool and it doesn’t even work. Thankfully, I had my phone with me. I found the front desk and was told towels would come but never given an apology. The towels never came we waited 45 min. We decided to just walk through the hotel soaking wet. I’m sure the floor was extremely slippery for other people who decided to walk after us. My youngest child was freezing walking through the hotel. We get to the room and there are only two towels even though I booked the room for four people. I phoned the front desk and again no apology he just told me towels would come. After about 30 minutes someone brought towels. It’s kind of ridiculous that even the most simple requests cannot be taken care of. I have tried to call since we left to complain to the manager but he is always unavailable and it takes forever for someone to answer the phone.

GGuest UserThe staff at the hotel was above and beyond amazing. Every person in banquet staff was amazing to work with. Always happy to help. Engineering went above and beyond to make sure that all preparations for the holiday on the property was done in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everybody and anybody that wants to stay in South Florida.
AanthonysV6554MQThis review is about Antojitos located inside the Doubletree Doral. Arrived there for lunch, Yidier my server was very helpful. Gave me excellent service, same goes to his coworker inside the restaurant. Front Desk young lady & Steve was helpful too. Love the Fusion refreshment stand, so helpful during this hot season. I ordered a Street Burger (it comes with a fried egg) and Chocolate Explosion. I noticed a hotel guest who is white Hispanic male with short light brown hair & wearing glasses observing my movements as I'm minding my own business & dining too. Leave the observations to the Department of Homeland Security, this is hospitality. I brushed it off, he got the message as I left. This visit is dedicated to my ex German American girlfriend. Cue in the songs : The Best Damn Thing by Avril Lavigne and Summer on You song by Lucas & Steve and Sam Feldt. ✌️
GGuest UserExcellent stay! Room was spotless, with great AC. Staff were friendly and competent, even with little extras like macaroons and a bottle of water at check-in. The Club was up to its high standards with excellent hors d'oeuvres in the evening such as empanada and ceviche. Fernando in the club ensured everyone was taken care of. Roberto in the bar was a delight as always. The hotel had many events going on, but that didn't take away from the service to the regular guests. I look forward to my next stay!
GGuest UserWe had a great stay. The hotel is next to major roads if you are going to downtown Miami or elsewhere. The breakfast included was basic, and with high quality products and offerings. The one observation is that you have to request room cleaning service 24-hrs in advance or they won't come to clean the bathroom and empty trash cans. I was fine with not changing sheets and towels everyday for eco-friendly reasons, but I would suggest the front-desk to remind guests of this cleaning-upon-request. However, when we did ask for room cleaning the day before we left, the front desk graciously made that happen that same day. I will stay there again on my next trip.
SSridhar TWe had two rooms and stayed overnight. -The hotel is only 3.5miles from the Miami International Airport. But will take a good 20mins. to get there in traffic by car. -Great location(restaurants and shopping at walking distance). -City Place, Doral is just across the street and great place to hang out. -Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. -Free car parking, Front desk staff was very friendly. -Breakfast was decent and hotel offers luggage carts. -If you like running/walking outdoors, there are long stretches of sidewalks. But use the ones behind the hotel that are calm(less traffic). If you need to be closer to the airport, this property is a great choice. Overall very comfortable and will return.
GGuest UserAlways stay in Marriott hotels for years. Stayed in Doral for one night, airplane noise due to flight path about two hundred feet directly above hotel is horrible, floor shakes every minute or two when landing planes come overhead. The patio has only one table outside the pool enclosure. Since the one table was taken by another party, we sat at table inside the pool enclosure where there are numerous tables and chairs some occupied. The pool was closed per the sign, we did not go in the pool nor did we want to, even though the pool was clear, clean and pump obviously working. Our party only wanted to sit and enjoy happy hour. We sat there for over an hour and then rudely we were told we had to leave the patio as the pool was closed. We were not in the pool. We asked why we had to leave the patio when we were not in the pool and the employee could not answer why. Definitely not worth the price to stay here and definitely does not compare to the standard of Marriott
GGuest UserWe stayed for 2 nights but wished I only booked for 1 night. Was not aware that hotel didn't include free hotel shuffle so had to pay 30USD return for my own uber. Upon late arrival to hotel due to air traffic problems due to bad weather in miami our room door wasnt locked and bed wasnt made so we moved rooms. Hotel is about 15/20 mins drive from airport. I would not stay here again as location and no free airport shuttle is not appealing for me. The fact that I received no proper apology from hotel regarding my reserved room I would not stay here again!!
10 minutes drive from int'l airport, no shuttle to this stay. The house keeping is not doing great job to clean the room. Upon arrival you can pick up the dirty kitchenette and of course you have to clean it. There's no breakfast as advertisement says, it's coffee and sugary granola bars and muffins. The biggest problem I faced was the low water pressure supply to the hotel, not just one room. There is self service laundry room on site accepts coin and cards. Rrooms looking over 33rd street and 87Ave are extremely noisy, Sam as sleeping on the said walk. Also room looking over the pool are caius by noise coming from airplane s landing. The best rooms are located behind the reception. For long stays in Miami, nightly rate between $80-90 is not bad all in all. Receptionist Jenne is responsive attentive and willing to help, but not enough, rest of the team attitude should come on board in order to make a difference. C U Around.
GGuest UserThis hotel has recently been remodeled and a nice looking rooms with upgraded flooring and new painted walls. Very quiet hotel and a good place to stay for traveling nurses and night shift workers. I would definitely recommend for good rest
