What can I say ..Probably one of the worst B&B I’ve ever come across. picked it because of previous reviews that appeared to be positive. Instead my experience was basically negative. Very very cluttered property and little security in place. I did not stay the night ..found accommodation elsewhere.

This is a charming B&B located in the South Downs countryside. The large country cottage is full of character and is convenient for the South coast including Chichester and Goodwood. The B&B has a helpful and attentive owner who provides a generous breakfast.

Wonderful two night stay in this lovely cottage, set in very quite, idyllic location in Midhurst, Sussex. The bedroom & ensuite was very comfortable and Miranda, the owner, cooked us a great breakfast each morning. Great walks from the cottage each day around Midhurst and we enjoyed our evening meals at two local pubs the Royal Oak & The Greyhound only a 5 & 8 minute walk from Bridge Cottage. Miranda was excellent & delightful company and we look forward to staying again.

Really enjoyed our stay here; a beautiful setting and attractive house with a very thoughtful host. The bubbling brook sent me to sleep, which was good and comfortable. The very comprehensive breakfast lacked nothing and was perfectly cooked and of good quality. There are lots of books to read... An added bonus!

Our hostess was welcoming and attentive, helping us to navigate round a local road closure. Our bedroom was comfortable and warm (during a cold spell) and the adjacent bath/shower a pleasure to use with plenty of hot water. Around the house were beautiful and intriguing objects ranging from a Person caret to a couple of (Mughal?) miniatures. Many very good options selectable for breakfast.

On arrival Miranda greeted us and made us feel really welcome. We had a lovely room with a really comfy bed and could hear a babbling brook outside our window. In the morning Miranda provided us with a delicious freshly cooked breakfast. We couldn’t have been made more welcome and will definitely be back.

Everything the quintessential English B&B should be. Served tea in the garden on arrival even though there was a power outage in the area. The 17 century house sits in a very quiet idyllic location. The rooms were great, my shower was huge. The full English breakfast was wonderful and was served in a beautiful conservatory where I could watch the deer prance by the window. And the grayhound pub is a few steps away, overall a very enjoyable stay. Matilda is a wonderful host!
