Hotel Tabaiba Princess

Stylish, fresh hotel with incredibly nice surroundings. Friendly staff, must lift Alejandro in the H2O bar, there is no more service minded person, always with a smile. The food in the buffet restaurant could have been more varied, also it was a very noisy environment there, you could sit outside and then the noise was minimized. There was an Italian and an Asian restaurant included once/week, amazingly good food. The walk down to Maspalomas beach took about 20 minutes. There are pools for everyone, we ourselves stayed in the adult section, calm and quiet. Also have to highlight the terrace bar Chill, such a relaxing environment. This is really a hotel for all generations, can highly recommend it.

The hotel is very special, lots to do,we went for 7 days and it was not enough to enjoy all the things at the hotel, we rent a car for 3day and went out as well,it costa about 130 euro but it is cheaper if you get it for the whole time from the airport ,is the same price The bad thing is they don t have a kettle in the room ,it is strange ! We had trouble doing our milk for baby! But always fond a microwave or hot water at the bars!24/24 The staff was ok,food is very good,different types every day on meats,lots of lively desserts. The ouside of the hitel with gardens ,palm trees ,even parrots,pool area is very spacious and are many pools! The best hotel we went it was this one.we choose Tabaiba side and was perfect,we had a cot in the room! Be careful to the Photo Team ,they are very expensive if you choose to have a photo sesion with them! The shops as well are expensive on the boulevard and there are not so many choices, it is a supermarket around 7min walk I will give 5 star for this hotel Love it and dont trust negative comments about people who are angry because of the kids staying around, they can choose an adulta only hotel if they have trouble with the noise! Highly reccomended ! It is like a dream!

We stayed here with our children and friends over Easter half term and were blown away by how lovely the whole hotel and grounds were. The hotel is huge and seems to go on and on with lovely tropical plants and flowers everywhere. I was sceptical after reading so many not great reviews but apart from a few small details we couldn’t fault the place and had a lovely week. The pool areas are beautiful, the snack bars have everything you could ever want and the staff are very attentive and friendly My only small complaints would be the black stones around the pool get very very hot in the sun so pool shoes or sliders are needed and the cocktails are out of a machine which I found disappointing but other than this everything else was easily 4 star and the price we paid for it was amazing for such a lovely place. People complaining about the amount of children should stay clear of half term holidays in the future and not blame the hotel/experience on this. I’d come back again because overall we all had a wonderful time in the sun

Overall a lovely hotel but it is not adult friendly and should be advertised as such.if you want to put up with hundreds of screaming children and babies and buggies then it could be for you.even the speciality restaurants are teaming with babies.

Good points -Nice, modern decor in public areas, room and around the pools -comfortable bed -fantastic housekeeping in the room and around the hotel -Lovely grounds and beautiful plants, gardeners did a great job maintaining everything -Adult pool. A life saver and a tranquil space. Maybe open the bar on an evening so there’s somewhere for adults to have a quiet drink. -Variety of food, always something different Not so good -Food Market. Meal times are absolute chaos. children running around, no parental supervision and the noise is deafening from small children crying, screaming and/or squealing. No areas just for adults, if there’s an adult only pool, why not an area in the dining room that’s designated just for adults? The room is large enough - Hot food isn’t that hot, more luke warm. Even the freshly cooked meat/fish was just tepid. Side dishes, vegetables/potatoes etc all cold. If you’re happy eating salad etc then you’ll have no problem, lots of choice. -non-existent air conditioning. Room temp set to 10deg but felt no different to balcony temp. No difference even after reporting issue to hotel. -children running up and down corridors very early in the morning -being woken by children screaming in corridor very early in the morning. I understand the hotel is aimed at families but if there are adult only facilities provided (pool and daytime bar) to encourage this group of traveller, please consider adult only floors. -smoking on balconies. Room next door smoked all the time and put cigarettes out in the flowerbeds between rooms, not enjoyable to sit out and smell came into room. -no privacy on balcony. Very low wall, can actually climb over it and can see into next door room, no separation. Would I return? No and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to come here unless they have children under 5.

Hotel was great. Spotlessly clean, great facilities, staff were amazing especially in the kid's club, food was fantastic. Only thing that let it down was the cocktails. The ones on all inclusive weren't great and the others you had to pay for.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing however the holiday was a massive let down. We stayed in maspalomas a year ago and wanted to try this hotel. The hotel is nice and spacious, plenty of pools and a heated one for the kids. The entertainment staff were all really friendly. I didn’t see the pools themselves get cleaned, and the sand … more like aggregate …. is absolutely filthy with cigarette ends in it! The rooms were done daily with a mop. Beach towels can only be changed once with a slip. Nothing was explained at check in, you just get a printed A4 paper. The restaurants were understaffed, queues every day and lots of food but not enough to make a meal. They didn’t start the food station cooking until after the doors opened and it was a free for all. I was with my 4 year old daughter getting plates pushed in my back. I have never seen anything like it. It spoiled the holiday as we all dreaded meal times. We ate out 3 times instead of ensuring the madness. It rained a few days and the entertainment is outdoor, this meant there was absolutely nothing to do in the evening.

I have Been to Gran Canaria many times but the time it was my first time in Maspalomas princess and I had a wonderful time. Me and my parents spend most time at the 18+ pool - it is a beautyful peaceful place Where we couldn’t hear the noise from the main pool. That is Nice when you don’t travle with kids. The bartender at the H2O bar - Alejandro - is the nicest bartender - he always smiles, know your favorit drink etc.

Fantastic resort, excellent food and facilities. this is the third time we come and I really wanted to mention the quality of the food and the staff, especially bar tender Alejandro, so caring and helpful, always smiling and entertaining.
