Arena House Conil

We (couple, 27 and 30) visited „Arena House Conil“ from the 19th to the 25th of June. The accommodation was recommended to us by our surf instructor who we were in contact with and who works together with the owner of the hostel. A quick summary: It was amazing! The longer version: Communication with the owner: Simple, uncomplicated, quick and reliable! He is spanish, but communication in english was not a problem at all! We used WhatsApp, which was the most simple way of contact, but I am sure there are other ways as well. Booking confirmations were send by Email. The location: Keep in mind that our visit was kind of in the off-season in June. It was the perfect timing, since the town was full of life, since the locals seem to chose it as a vacation spot as well but it did not feel „cramped“ by a massive tourist invasion. Arena House is located very close to the center of the town. It is about 5 minutes walking distance to the town center and about 10 minutes to the beaches (long, sandy beaches as far as the eye can reach) The rooms: We had a simple room with all the essentials (bed, wardrobe, air conditioning), a private little balcony and a private bathroom. Arena House was recently renovated and when you step into your room, you feel as if it was freshly painted just for you. The bathrooms have a really high quality and everything is clean. Arena House itself offers you a shared kitchen with the other appar**ents and it seems to have been just as recently renovated as the rooms and offers you everything you need if you prefer cooking yourself. As a bonus Arena House offers you a rooftop terrace which has a great view over the town and a beachview. Although it is located near the „action“ you dont really get reached by the noises all that much. The price: Again we have to emphasize that we were there in June so prices may vary. We paid 60€ per night, which is a great offer considering the quality of the rooms, the location near the center and the beach and the mentioned extras. Conclusion: I would recommend Arena House without hesitation and I am glad we found that little gem among all the other offers in Conil.
