Booked last minute for 2 nights. Can’t fault the staff who were responsive, friendly and accommodating throughout. Particular shout out to Shannon who was extremely personable. Breakfast plentiful and well presented. Beds comfortable. Only thing we could suggest for the future is a larger shower cubicle (we are not a petite couple) and power shower. Will come back again.

Loved it. This place is just incredible. We stayed two nights with our dogs in the most gorgeous, huge room (17) with a door out onto a little garden - perfect for the dogs.
Free onsite parking
You can’t take dogs into the dining area but no problem at all, they set the lounge up for us. We enjoyed private dining in the comfort of the beautiful lounge. The staff are incredible - so friendly but without being over bearing and super helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
The location is spot on literally the edge of the town (right across from the pitch and put).
Honestly cannot rate this place enough and we will most defo return - even considering getting a group of us together.

This was a lovely place to stay in the centre of a lovely village. The bed was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. My only quibble was the fact that breakfast turned out to be a buffet rather than individual cooking but it was still very good.

A comfortable and friendly stay. Room adequate for our needs but what made the stay was the service provided by the two you ladies present throughout our stay. We had our dogs with us and not allowed in the breakfast room. Could have been an issue but the staff kindly laid out a breakfast table in the lounge. Excellent service.

Excellent property, great price, room great, breakfast great, staff helpful. Couldn’t fault it, convenient to nearby pubs and shops.
Only fault was it rained a lot but that wasn’t any fault of the hotel !!!!😂
Definitely return next time in the area.

Such a lovely place to stay! It is extremely convenient for walking into Ambleside.
We were welcomed upon arrival and shown to our lovely room. Breakfast was delicious!
