We had Thanksgiving dinner there and the food was excellent. We want to compliment your volunteer greeter Mary Beth. The food was amazing. We will definitely come back.

The weekend was beautiful. Very relaxing. We enjoyed the view from the room and slept well. We were not happy with the food. All state park food has not been good since Covid. The buffet has always been a family favorite but not this time. Staff was pleasant and eager to make our stay pleasant.

The view was wonderful. The room was dark, quiet and great for sleep. The room is very clean, but seriously dated. No USB or refrigerator. Tiny TV by today's standards. Dining room hours were not convenient. They were open 11 - 2 somedays, 11 -3, 11-7. The exterior lighting was mostly out, leaving the walkways and parking lot very dark.

The resort was clean staff was friendly. Dining area was very clean meals very affordable. Typical motel free breakfast. It would have been nice if they had mini refrigerator i room but i brought a cooler and free ice is available. Pool area very nice separate area for small children.

If there had been no stars. I would have picked that. Class reunion lunch and they knew 20 of us were coming at noon to eat. Took forever to be waited on and then that was for drinks only. I didnt time it but it took a while. Finally after drinks were served, the server criss-crossed down the table getting orders. After 1 1/2 hours she started bringing some food but only 2 plates at a time and stood at the end of the long table asking what you had. Most could not hear her. The last person got his burnt hamburger at around 2 hours. The server NEVER came back to offer more drinks, to see how everything was, or to see if we needed anything else. Then it was 30 minutes to pay with her asking each person what they ate and then putting it into the register. I am just shocked at how inefficient it was. And the food was not good...maybe 2 stars. FYI, I have never written such a bad review and bothers me to know that one of our state park has gone so downhill.

Nice and quiet, very relaxing being close to nature. They have a nice pool with good lounges. The room was basic but clean and included what is needed, except there is not a microwave nor refrig. The dining room was closed for most meals while we were there requiring an 8-10 miles drive to small-town restaurants. Self-serve breakfast was available which was just OK.
