We got upgraded to a dome room during the off-season, and I loved the tatami relaxation area and the balcony with breathtaking views. It would be even better if the private hot spring’s overhead cover could be removed and some small night lights added for extra ambiance! A big thank you to the thoughtful butler for their excellent care."

"Escaping the July heat to Moganshan, the biggest takeaway was how my mind and body just slowed down. Naked Retreats, as the pioneer of luxury wilderness resorts in China, truly excels at 'integrating with nature.' The treehouse villas are nestled deep within the bamboo forest; opening the window reveals an abundance of calming green, and waking up to birdsong in the morning – this immersive experience, bursting with negative ions, is truly rare. Thanks also to Xiao Tu for the help. I hope to visit again."

"We chose Deqing Marriott for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. The hotel is very new and all its facilities are excellent. Michael Lin provided us with a very comfortable experience during check-in. Our room had a view of the Ferris wheel, which made our child very happy. The hotel is right next to Yintai City, and we could walk there from the underground parking garage, which was super convenient, especially since it was raining. We were very satisfied with the hotel breakfast, especially the pickled cabbage buns and meat buns, which received rave reviews from the whole family! 👍"

"The overall environment during my stay was really poor. There was a large huntsman spider in my room, and while these spiders are known to eat cockroaches and mosquitoes, it suggests a serious pest problem, with many small insects present. I asked the front desk if they had any insect repellent, and they simply said no. It's hard to believe that a hotel located in the mountains wouldn't even have basic insect control products. The staff's professionalism in handling pests was terrible, and their efficiency was extremely low. Their response was completely amateurish. Not only did they fail to remove the spider, but they also let it hide in the room and disappear. I then had to repeatedly contact multiple supervisors to come and search, and after a long ordeal, nothing was resolved. Throughout the whole process, the staff just kept reassuring me that the spider wouldn't hurt me, completely disregarding that some guests have an innate fear of insects. They offered no practical or effective solutions from beginning to end. The entire experience was terrible, and I absolutely do not recommend this place."

The facilities are excellent, including high-quality toiletries and a powerful hot shower. The staff are very diligent; the auntie starts cleaning and sweeping leaves in the yard very early in the morning. This guesthouse is highly recommended."

"If you're looking for a quiet retreat in nature, this is it. Highly recommend and would definitely return! This guesthouse is the only property in the area, surrounded by mountains on all sides — incredibly peaceful and quiet, far from the noise of the city. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious with large windows that frame lush greenery all around. No musty smell at all — just fresh, clean air. Breakfast was generous and satisfying, and the host was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell they really care about their guests."

"For a room costing 1500 a night, everything from the environment to the service was a complete letdown. To reach the hotel room, I had to walk through the basement parking lot – I've never seen such a bizarre layout before. The staff looked utterly miserable, as if "don't bother me" was written all over their face. I'm a paying guest, yet I felt like I was walking on eggshells! Upon entering the room, there was a strong musty smell. The sheets and duvet felt damp, clearly indicating a lack of ventilation. The toilet and bathroom had transparent glass walls – what's the logic behind that design choice? The curtains weren't blackout, so the room was flooded with light as soon as dawn broke, making it impossible to sleep in the morning. And the small sofa in the room had visible stains; it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages! When a staff member opened the door for us, the magnetic catch was broken, so they skillfully (and shockingly) tied the door handle down with a bathrobe sleeve! Unbelievable! Is this what I paid 1500 a night for???"

Environment: Surrounded by mountains, the air is fresh and clean. Service: A dedicated butler is always available, providing attentive service with a smile! One-hour private bath in the Bamboo Forest Hot Springs: Highly recommended. Not only is it photogenic, but it's also very clean. It was prepared an hour in advance, disinfected before soaking, and served with hot tea and snacks. A box of free-range eggs was also provided upon check-out! Their yellow tea is also delicious! Summary: Traveling in the off-season with fewer crowds is truly wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. I compared many options and chose this one, and I wasn't disappointed!"
