"This hotel was AMAZING! The place is beautiful, the room is stunning and has everything you need - the bathtub was so lovely and relaxing. They provided us with all the amenities you need and it was the perfect weekend! The location is great, and the staff were incredible- so attentive and did everything they could to make sure we had the best time. It was the BEST weekend away and I have zero complaints and I would recommend this place to anyone!! Plus the food was delicious and the KTV room was a great addition!"

"During the Dragon Boat Festival, my mom, son, and I stayed at Starry Sky Courtyard, a place a friend recommended. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking! From our room, we felt completely immersed in the lush jungle greenery. The BBQ and dinner were incredibly plentiful too, and the chicken soup, in particular, was delicious. But the absolute highlight was the hostess – she was so incredibly warm and welcoming! She not only helped us plan a fantastic itinerary but also took care of every single detail with such thoughtfulness and meticulousness. She truly went above and beyond!"

"An outskirt paradise on the hill. Good for hiking or treking. Impressed by the Italian designed lobby. We were well received by the house keeper Teddy. We were honor to be attended by the owner Ernest Guan who make all guests feel at home. Ever obliging and “Take your time”is his slogan . The western meal is acceptable and the Chinese meal is excellent. We eventually extended our stay to join the night party with many foreigners. Thanks Ernest to his extra “wood”for comforting us through those chilling nights party."

"About the room: clean, really comfy bed. Shower was great (strong water pressure which was rare in mountain hotel). Coffee capsules were of good quality- handy when wanting to enjoy a cuppa first thing in the morning with a mountain view. Hotel location: quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of town centre which was perfect for a relaxing holidays. Local Chinese food restaurants were only 15 mins walk away. Easy to get Didi to go nearby town too. Also, it’s easy to get to multiple hiking trails in the area. Service: overall is fine. Staff was flexible and accommodating to meet guests’ needs. However, much improvement is needed for housekeeping as it was not done for one of the days during my stay and I had to ask for it at the end of the day. And water and coffee was not automatically replenished on certain days. Other than those minor incidents, the service and staff’s hospitality was good. Food: great breakfast. Restaurant menu was decent. But it will be nicer to have offerings like sandwiches for a light lunch option."

"We really did not choose the wrong place. This holiday villa has complete facilities. It not only has a chess and card area, but also billiards and KTV. It feels like it has everything you need. It is so fun to invite a bunch of friends to come here for vacation!"

"This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I’m already planning to return in October. What I love most about this place is its stunning location — nestled against the mountains and surrounded by peaceful bamboo forests. The view is simply breathtaking. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a spring water bath, swimming pool, tea lounge, and a cozy restaurant serving delicious meals. The rooms and shared areas were clean and well-maintained. Most of all, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful, relaxing weekend — a true escape into nature and tranquility."

"I booked this B&B after reading online recommendations. It felt good to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights. The overall decoration of the B&B has a sense of design. The interior decoration style is elegant and generous. The wooden furniture, lamps and other decorations in the room are in harmony with the interior decoration style. The sanitary ware is ROCA, and the washing supplies are L'Occitane, both of which are my personal favorite brands. The most important thing is that the room is clean and hygienic, the breakfast tastes good and the presentation is exquisite. Then there are the housekeepers who are serious and responsible, enthusiastic, polite and very measured. Thanks to the housekeeper for upgrading to the Loft Mountain View Room, which made our family of three's stay more comfortable, and also gave us tea from our own tea garden as a souvenir."

"What a beautiful place to break away from the noise of everyday life! The entire camp has such a calm, serene, almost zen-like atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well thought out. The design and layout of the place are stunning. There’s bamboo growing everywhere, adding to the natural, tranquil vibe. The cabins themselves are pretty modern and clean. The staff we interacted with was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful - even though there was a language barrier. Whether we needed a ride somewhere around the camp (which was always available thanks to staff driving around regularly) or had a question, they were always happy to assist. Adding reception on WhatsApp made things even easier – they responded quickly to any requests we had. The food was amazing. We especially loved the Chinese restaurant – every dish we tried was full of flavor. There’s a communal pool and other fun activities like paddling, which unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy due to the weather. Still, it’s nice to know they’re available. There’s also a small animal park where one can see peacocks, goats, chickens and ducks. It’s also nice to just walk around the camp. The views are just gorgeous, and the whole environment encourages you to relax and slow down. All in all, it’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy some peace and the beauty of nature. One small downside was that there was only one coffee machine available at breakfast, which led to a long line. We ended up buying coffee, which was a bit inconvenient—especially since we could’ve had coffee for free. 🤭 I highly recommended Elephant and Moon! Would love to visit again!"

"Service beyond expectations, praise! 1. When driving by car, the boss will inform you of the navigation points in detail one day in advance. Fortunately, after checking, Baidu Maps directly circled the mountain road... Only when the boss recorded the screen did I realize that there was a problem with the navigation, so I decisively changed to Amap. 2. Because there was a room available that day, the boss upgraded the room type for free. So I stayed in a room with a very impressive large glass window. The main feeling is full of vacation. 3. The toiletry bag provided is very exquisite, with replacement heads for electric toothbrushes from Leifen, toothpaste from Shuke, mosquito repellent 😊, and compressed face towels for the sisters! 4. For breakfast, sleep until you wake up naturally, and the aunt will bring it out. 5. We prepared juice and smoothies for us in the afternoon and evening. The next day when we left, we were given water and made coffee☕The boss was so enthusiastic that I was embarrassed, haha, so I brought two bottles of Moganshan mineral water back~ 6. Rooms with bathing pools will also provide bubble bath balls, hehehehe😁full of atmosphere 7. The second floor of Wuling No. 1 is the best place to watch the sunset and white coffee. A boss ~ Chiang Kai-shek's official residence is next door. Human landscape + natural landscape. The experience is great. It's rare to write a long review, and it can be as long as a guide. Really enjoyed a service that exceeded expectations. Wall push!"

"The hotel is on the mountain, so the view is awesome. The host was helpful and polite. Hot springs were very beautiful and I enjoyed my bathing there. The room was very clean, there was everything inside. I liked to eat my breakfast on the terrace with mountains view. Could even see the sunset there in the evening."
