"The Naked Castle Hotel offers a truly unique experience far removed from the city hustle. This is the ultimate ”out of the city” vacation. The highlight of our stay was hands-down the majestic scenery. We were treated to the best view of the sunrise imaginable, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a view every morning—a truly serene way to start the day. The service staff was friendly and incredibly helpful, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the activities on site and appreciated the convenience of the free shuttle service to visit their sister resort. If you're seeking tranquility, spectacular views, and a memorable luxury getaway, the Naked Castle Hotel is highly recommended!"

"This hotel isn't really suited for activities during this season. It's massive and built on a mountain, so you need a shuttle to get anywhere. Exploring on foot feels like mountain climbing due to the steep inclines. If you don't want to move, you're pretty much confined to your room. The front desk upgraded my room, which I saw was valued at 2200, while I originally booked a 1400 room. I thought I got a great deal. But then I checked Douyin and realized their prices were several hundred yuan cheaper than Ctrip. So, the 2200 room the front desk upgraded me to was actually only 1400 on Douyin… oh well. My final complaint is about the breakfast at this so-called ”Diamond Hotel.” It's truly terrible. The amount shown in the picture is all you get, and the dishes are incredibly cheap. They really should go and learn from other star-rated hotel restaurants."

"The last hotel I stayed in during the May Day trip was the most amazing one. Both the accommodation and the travel experience were very unexpected. Although there were a lot of people, the experience was good because the place was large, there were many activities, and the queues were not too long. The hotel restaurant tasted good, and I recommend Yanlaixuan. The housekeeper Yulu's service was very thoughtful. She would send the day's activities in time for dining and playing, and would learn about the age of the travelers in advance and give suggestions. It was a very good experience."

"Didn't know where to go for the weekend, and my pre-paid package was expiring at the end of March, so I booked Xiangyue Lake a night earlier. It definitely didn't disappoint! Most of them are individual log cabins, and they surprisingly all have microwaves, fridges, and sterilizers. The environment is also great, surrounded by bamboo forests. Many activities are free, and there was even a bonfire party on Saturday night, which the kids loved. The soft play area, though small, was quite clean. Two days felt a bit rushed; we didn't get a chance to try bamboo shoot digging since it's only an hour in the morning and afternoon. I loved the bicycles; the regular ones are free for two hours, which is more than enough to cycle around the whole area. I rode twice and even took my baby to see the horses. The horses at the equestrian club were completely different from the ponies I'd seen before; my baby absolutely loved them. Next time, I'll bring the elderly and stay an extra night so it's not so rushed."

"Pros: 1. Lele, our vacation butler, sent us restaurant and activity tips every day in advance. She was super responsive to all our questions – a perfect score! 2. When we checked in, a staff member immediately came to help with our luggage and took it to the storage area. Very observant! 3. The front desk lady who checked us in was very patient (the front desk gets busy in the afternoon, so I recommend avoiding peak times). 4. The shuttle drivers, both young and older, would always pull the curtain for us when we got on and off. Today, it was raining, and they even thoughtfully held an umbrella for us. 5. The cleaning staff did an excellent job; the room was spotless. 6. The buffet breakfast at the Rainforest Restaurant was fantastic, especially the tofu pudding and pancakes – super delicious! (The dinner buffet was a bit less impressive; only three kinds of seafood, and none that I liked. A friendly reminder: members get discounts on adult meals based on their tier, but children pay full price). 7. I highly recommend kayaking! I personally found it more fun than the Bamboo Sea Shuttle. The single kayaks are very easy to paddle, much less effort than wooden paddle boats – you can learn in less than a minute. Getting out of the kayak was a bit messy for adults, but kids managed it gracefully. The only drawback: The women's restroom at the Rainforest Restaurant only had Western-style toilets, no squat toilets. As a family-friendly hotel, it would be good to have at least two squat toilets. It's tiring to put down a toilet seat cover every time. What should have been a relaxed and smooth experience ended up being a rushed and somewhat inconvenient one."

"The hotel boasts a wonderful ambiance, and its design aesthetic is truly on point. It was incredibly comfortable to stay here, and I thoroughly enjoyed unwinding for two days. Both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were quite good. Exploring the local farmhouse restaurants and noodle shops down the mountain was also a nice treat. The only real downside was the shower. It lacked proper wet-dry separation, relying only on a shower curtain, which meant a large part of the bathroom floor would get completely soaked after showering. Additionally, the shower head had very weak water flow and insufficient pressure. And to top it off, the bathwater came out yellowish 😂. Despite these minor issues, everything else was fantastic, and I would definitely return!"

"The hotel is inside the Scenic spot area, hence it is reqd to register the Didi car license beforehand with the hotel so they can get the free tickets. We got the hotel's WeChat contact beforehand and everything was arranged smoothly. The room is clean, spacious with a gorgeous view facing the sunrise. Totally worth the amount paid. A special shout-out to hotel manager Damon, he didn't speak English but went above and beyond to help us with our queries. Would definitely live here if I went back to Moganshan!"

"Transportation: A 15-minute drive from Yucun, passing many guesthouses and restaurants along the way, as well as two tunnels. Environment: Surrounded by lush mountains, far from the hustle and bustle. A small stream with a fish-scale dam at the entrance is perfect for wading in the summer. To the left of the path is a plantation, and to the right is a meadow where you can see horses on the farm. There is a parking lot with charging stations at the hotel entrance. You can choose to walk to the hotel after getting off your car, or there is a shuttle service available (about a one-minute walk). The staff are warm and attentive. Ms. Yang, in particular, was very thoughtful. Because it was a weekday during the off-season, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a family suite, which was very spacious, with two floors where we wouldn't disturb each other. It had four balconies, perfect for drying clothes or relaxing and enjoying the view. The hotel's disposable toothbrushes were excellent – ​​highly recommended! The hotel offers a nine-compartment breakfast; the handmade wontons are highly recommended."
