JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

The location of Mo Yu Shan Ju is perfect. It is only an 8 to 10-minute walk from the bustling Yucun market town. It is extremely convenient for going out for food, strolling, or visiting surrounding attractions. However, it cleverly maintains a sense of independence and tranquility, as if it is a paradise away from the hustle and bustle.
The moment you step into the villa, the clean and tidy environment instantly catches your eye. Every detail has been carefully taken care of, just right, making people feel particularly comfortable. The billiard room, karaoke room and chess and card room on the basement floor added endless fun to our journey and allowed us to spend many happy times in the villa.
However, what touched me most was the enthusiasm and kindness of the landlord couple. While traveling, my tire suddenly got a flat. It happened to be Chinese New Year and all the repair shops were closed. I was getting extremely anxious when my landlord, Mr. Yao, offered to help me. With his skillful hands-on ability and superb techniques, he helped me find the leak and repaired the tire, solving my urgent problem at the end of the year. What is even more touching is that Boss Yao resolutely refused to accept any compensation. I was deeply moved by this selfless help.
At Moyu Mountain Residence, I not only enjoyed comfortable accommodation, but also felt the warmth and care of family. This is not just a place to stay, but also a home full of warmth. Next time I come to Moganshan, I will definitely choose here again!

AAlexRJSuperb stay, in a perfect location amidst a bamboo forest, far from the crowds and making you feel fully relaxed and comfortable. The vibe at the house is super cozy, the place is extremely clean and beautifully decorated, with warm colors and a home-vibe all around. Ernest and his team were super supportive since the first moment of the reservation and assisted us immediately through WeChat if any question. We also enjoyed their exquisite Chinese local dinner set; it was tasty and fresh! The breakfast is also very delicious. Finally, the bedroom was really amazing, with one of the best views I’ve had in a countryside hotel by far; just spectacular to relax and get a perfect getaway from the city. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends. Thanks for all Ernest!!!

PPinkGirlExtremely sweet staff who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and swift. We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. They provided us with a DIY barbecue on Saturday night and allowed us to have a party till quite
If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

MMiamiaAn amazing hotel! I came to Hangzhou to watch a play during the Qingming Festival, and stayed in Moganshan for two days. I wanted to feel the deep greenery in Moganshan, but I didn't feel it in the mountains (the scenic spot was somewhat over-promoted...), but I completed the closed loop in Zhimagu Hotel. It can be seen that the design of this hotel is very bold and attentive. Each room has a unique design style, classical Chinese, European, American, Southeast Asian, ******* style... I was dazzled when choosing a room. If I wasn't afraid of trouble, I would even want to change the style every day~ The reception area and restaurant of the entire hotel are filled with various green plants, medieval furniture and interesting sculptures and paintings. The sun shines in through the large French windows of the Elf Restaurant. The whole space looks patchwork in the extremely complex style, as if it is located in Southeast Asia. The breakfast in the restaurant and the stir-fried dishes in the Chinese restaurant are good. The waiters are generally young, and they are all very cute and friendly sisters and brothers. The housekeeper Xiaoyu is very thoughtful. She took the initiative to help with luggage, deliver things to the room, introduce travel guides, etc. I love you~🩷The cats and dogs in the store are well raised. They live a more comfortable life than me in a picturesque place. I envy them so much😭

GGuest UserThis is one of the best hotels I have ever been to. The location was good in the middle of the mountain, prividing great view and fresh, cool air. It's 15 minutes away from.the restaurants and 30 mins from the mountain scenic tourist spots and Discovery Adventures park. We arrived late at night, but the staff waited for us and gave us a warm welcome.There is a free parking space. Toiletries were provided upon request. Rooms had the basic amenities needed, ours had a bath tub and refrigerator. The hotel was homy with its wooden architecture. Breakfast was Chinese and was more than enough. We requested for dinner during our 2nd night, and the staff asked us what food and how we want them cooked with their available supply. We were allowed for a late check out during our 3rd day. All staff are very friendly. They know basic English which nakes the communication not a hindrance. To top ot all, it is a pet friendly hotel. This is highly recommended.

This might be one of the hotels with the most breathtaking views I've ever stayed in! Our room offered an unparalleled vista – truly a 'living painting' the moment you open the window. From the moment we drove through the hotel gates, the meticulous and thoughtful service was evident; staff guided us all the way, so we never worried about getting lost. After parking, the hotel provided dedicated internal shuttles for pick-up and drop-off, making it completely hassle-free and elevating the whole experience.
Waking up in the morning, gently drawing back the curtains, and watching the mist drift through the mountains, changing with the light – it was truly a sight so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away 🤩. Even doing nothing but lying in the room and soaking in the view brought immense joy.

The cliffside restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Perched right on the edge of the cliff, it features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the entire valley the moment you sit down. We were incredibly fortunate to secure a table with the best view; the expansive vista was simply stunning. Eating breakfast while watching the clouds and mist dance through the valley was profoundly therapeutic.
Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, ensuring you'd never get tired of it. I must especially commend the rice noodles – with three distinct toppings, each bursting with fresh, savory flavor that left me craving more! I ordered them two days in a row; the more I ate, the more I loved them 😋.

If you're looking for a romantic getaway for an anniversary, or a relaxing weekend road trip within the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, this place is absolutely perfect! There's no need to meticulously plan an itinerary; the hotel itself is a 'self-contained holiday haven'.
The complimentary activities alone are enough to fill a day: archery, billiards, craft-making... each one was engaging and fun. The paid activities were also reasonably priced. We tried both pottery and the spa, and highly recommend them. The entire experience was both relaxing and engaging, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves and truly 'slow down and savor the moment'.

**Pottery & Painting Instructor Deng Chensi Sam**: Very professional, explained everything in detail, and gave us lots of inspiration and suggestions. He even thoughtfully added us on WeChat so we could track the firing and delivery progress of our pieces at any time. He truly embodies 'delivering peace of mind'!
**Archery Instructor 🏹**: He was absolutely fantastic! His instruction was very professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We even participated in an archery competition and surprisingly won a prize! He called immediately to inform us and personally delivered the prize to our room. That moment truly warmed our hearts~
