JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

GGuest UserLocation: Opposite Junanli, it is very close to the starting point of the Moganshan cross-country race. Clean up your stomach in the hotel and walk directly to the past to run. You don't need to save your bag, let alone queue up for the bathroom near the starting point.
Environment: The villa with front and back yards is spacious and open, because there is a door that looks private and well isolated from the street. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and grass sky in the yard, and there are many small chairs and small tables. There are also many flowers and plants to rest in a daze. The lobby on the first floor is very spacious, the sofa is very comfortable, the combination of various exquisite furnishings and plants can see the boss's care for life, and different small corners can shoot a lot of still life small products.
Room: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, needless to say, the bedding is praised, the bed is soft and hard, and the latex pillow is too friendly to my sensitive neck! Sleeped well for two nights. I like the window on one wall, the bamboo forest is outside the window, and the wall is like a painting. The content of the picture frame unchanged changes with the seasons. The aroma quality of various toiletries is very good. The blueberries that welcome the fruit are also a box of washed, touching!
Breakfast: The day before, according to the menu, the boss specially prepared a special breakfast at six o'clock for cross-country competitors. The sandwich is well received! The sour noodle soup for daily breakfast is well received! All kinds of taboo bosses can take care of it intimately, touching!
Service: The boss is super nice, warm and thoughtful, beautiful and attentive, making people feel at home.
I hope that the next time the track organized by Kaileshi is different from the TNF, so there is another reason to come back!

JJade TallowinWe had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road.
I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too.
Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!

PPinkGirlExtremely sweet staff who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and swift. We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. They provided us with a DIY barbecue on Saturday night and allowed us to have a party till quite
If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

A good homestay is like a book that you can walk into.
The cover of this book is this house full of details and temperature. Traveling to Moganshan with friends, choosing this homestay when you choose to stay, is the luckiest start button of this journey, lighting up our next two days of journey. Turning the inside page, we met the two hostesses of the hotel, who took care of the hotel in a well-organized manner, and each contained heart and taste.
There are two particularly lovely chapters called Harry and Potatoes. Two ”puppies” (actually super-big) are illustrations that keep the book alive. In the morning, as Harry slipped into the room and quietly lay on the carpet to accompany us on makeup, he suddenly understood the most concrete appearance of happinessnot a distant encounter, but a furry warmth.
When I close this book, it takes away not only memories, but a small piece of light. Thank you for writing such a beautiful page, I will treasure it and look forward to reading it again.
It is highly recommended for all travelers looking for stories, temperatures and companionship.

WWangmintingThis hotel is truly beautiful and one of the larger establishments in Moganshan. I particularly loved the lobby and restaurant – they were incredibly lush and green! I rarely see lobbies and restaurants with such abundant greenery and flowers. It felt very chic and fresh, even more photogenic than many of the trendy cafes in Moganshan. Our room was spacious, and we were upgraded to the 'Prague' room. I do have a couple of suggestions: the bed frame was wider than the mattress, and I kept bumping my shins on it, which was painful. Also, the shower only had a rain shower head. The water pressure was great, but it was impossible to rinse off soap suds that splattered further away on the floor, so you'd end up stepping in bubbles when you got out. Finally, the toilet door wasn't fully sealed, which is a bit of an issue if you need privacy.

GGuest UserAn outskirt paradise on the hill. Good for hiking or treking. Impressed by the Italian designed lobby. We were well received by the house keeper Teddy. We were honor to be attended by the owner Ernest Guan who make all guests feel at home. Ever obliging and “Take your time”is his slogan . The western meal is acceptable and the Chinese meal is excellent. We eventually extended our stay to join the night party with many foreigners.
Thanks Ernest to his extra “wood”for comforting us through those chilling nights party.

PP CurrallUpon arrival we were warmly greeted as we parked our car in front of the hotel. The level of service continued to be extremely warm and friendly to the point of departure when they checked the road for us to leave. The location rating is more subjective. It’s very convenient as a base to explore Moganshan and doesn’t have the access complications of staying up on top of the mountain or the hustle and bustle of being in the town which gets a lot of traffic congestion. We enjoyed the seclusion and having a car it was ideal. The room was cosy with a good AC, quality accessories and a reasonable view, all appropriate for a 4 star hotel. We really liked the living and lounging areas around the grounds, where you can relax and read in seclusion. The swimming pool was perfect. Breakfast was a set menu and acceptable. Overall we felt very comfortable and would gladly return. Big thanks to the staff who did everything to make our stay pleasurable.
