Nice and clean hotel with good breakfast but no AC.

Good hotel, good breakfast buffet, diner options are ok - also locals for the sunday roast Meat options, parking ok for your stay, good hotel + parking for a visite to Dover Castle bunkers.

Decent lodging for a night

Super nice, truly picturesque facing the sea. It's not far from the train station and the White Cliffs of Dover, and there's a food court behind it. The room is so big, fully equipped, and has a sea view outside the window.

Unrivaled views of the English Channel, the White Cliffs of Dover and the harbour. Along the embankment, watching the cruise ships coming in and out, it is very pleasant in the sunset. The restaurant also has a coastal view, the service is very meticulous and comfortable, the overall level is enjoyment, and the hotel room itself is comfortable.

The reason I booked this hotel was because it was the closest hotel to the ferry dock. Although it wasn't a 30-minute walk, I think it was a 20-minute walk. The room was spacious and the view was pretty as it was towards the sea. The bathroom sink is being drained very seriously. Even though it was early September, it was really hot because there was no air conditioning. There was a fan, but it didn't help.

Lovely nice place right on the seafront. Well the ferry port actually. We had a room on the sea front and it was exceptionally quiet at night. I can't say what it would be like on the other side of the hotel with the trucks thundering past. Good place for visiting the Battle of Britain Memorial and Diver Castle too. Good town centre with lots of places for food. All in all a nice place with pleasant staff.

Sadly this Premier Inn is in desperate need of refurbishment. It looks tired and dated. Room was ok but beds have seen better days. Towels had dirty marks on them. Restaurant was tatty and understaffed. Menus were old and sticky. Food and drink choices very basic. Sea view was nice. We were on floor 2 and during the night could hear a lot of noise from room above, walking up and down. Not great when you’ve an early ferry to catch! Most of the staff you could see were trying their hardest except the girl on the day we checked out. Did not even utter a sentence or ask if I’d had a nice stay. Just put hand out for the key! I’ve been staying at Premier inns for about 12 years now and can honestly say this has to be the worst and standards are just not the same as pre pandemic.

Great location, clean rooms and attentive staff Has problems with our vehicle, not sure where to go or what to do but the staff on reception help sort things out which we were very grateful. So thank you all very much for great service and we will definitely return

Even though the hotel is right on the beach and close to the ferry terminal I was disappointed with our room (134). It does over look the sea which was amazing however the rooms are so old that you can absolutely every thing from next door and above. We were woken by the room at above at 4am who for a good hour walked back and forth their room, packing bags, moving furniture etc . It sounded like a herd of elephants. I don’t think we’ll return to this hotel again unless taking an earlier ferry to France . Our sleep was too disturbed. Pity as the location is great and the breakfast delicious

Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay, I felt very welcome. My room overall was really clean and the bed was made beautifully. Breakfast the next morning was amazing and I highly recommend, definitely will book again soon

Great hotel, perfect for ferries, great staff, with exception of young,dark haired lady with pony tail,on breakfast duty, everything, needing replenishing, and she snapped at anyone who asked for anything? No plates for hot food, no bread ,no butter, no orange juice,no cereals, etc, and if she had been keeping on top of it no problem, other than her everyone spot on! Meal deal really good value,two girls in evening superb! And reception staff, brilliant! Will stay again definitely,usedon way and way back from Europe, well done!
